21 - sleepy

Jonas brings round the remainder of the lunches before we set off.

I steal the last bag with the cheese sandwich in, which makes Beth say "oi, I wanted that one."

I go to hand it to her, trying to be polite, but she just pushes my hand away telling me to keep it and she will have the ham one instead. Leah, Beth and Viv all have ham sandwiches whilst I have a cheese.
The coach starts moving to I rip open my sandwich box and start devouring the contents.

Leah is just taking her first bite when she notices I am eating like I have never eaten before so she puts her hand on my thigh and says "hey love, slow down. Your gonna get stomach ache."
I stop eating, look at her and say "but im so hungry," I take another bite and continue, "and you remember what happened last night Le. I had nothing left inside of me."

She smiles and rubs my back, saying "I do remember my love, I was just telling you to be careful and maybe eat a little slower."
I smile and reply "ok, thank you for caring about me Le. I love you?"
She chuckles whilst stroking my head, and with a mouthful she answers "that's ok. I love you too."

I finish off eating my sandwich with a big grin on my face. Katie notices so she asks Jordan why she thinks im so happy.
Jordan shrugs but Viv overhears them so she joins in "did you want me to ask her for you?"
Katie immediately nods yes so Viv asks me "so why are you so happy then?"
I gasp "am I not just allowed to be happy, here, with my team??!!"
She rolls her eyes and replies to Katie "there, you got your answer. She's allowed to just be happy for no reason, but I can tell its something."

As I am finishing my kitkat, Leah asks "yeah, why are you just so happy all of a sudden?"
I look at her, innocently and reply barley at a whisper "because you told me you love me."

I grin harder than before. Something about being told that she loves me, makes me feel so much.

I finish all my food and Leah asks me "do you want to help me with my sudoku?"
I laugh and reply "see I would, im just too tired,"
She rolls her eyes at me with a small smile on her face so
I add "can I please have a cuddle now? I'm so tired and you're so warm."
She chuckles, but open her arms out for me to snuggle into "yes, come here then my little gremlin."

I place my head on her lap before reaching out with my index finger for hers, to hold onto.
She places her finger on mine, and I grasp it tightly, bringing it back down to her lap.
I close my eyes shut, smiling hard. She wraps her free arm around me and repetitively kisses my face.
I bury my head deeper into her chest, breathing in her sweet scent that made me feel at home.

Once they thought I was properly asleep, Beth asks Leah "so Leah, what happened last night? Anything juicy? Maybe that's why Jess was smiling?"
Leah's shakes her head firmly, rubbing my face with her spare thumb and replies "definitely not why she was smiling,"
She pauses to take a sip of her water, then continues answering Beth's very demanding questions. "Remember, how she got slightly drunk last night?"
Beth snorts "SLIGHTLY!"
Leah rolls her eyes but continue anyway, ignoring Beth's remark, "well, when we got back and into bed, she was throwing up a lot. And I mean a lot. Most of the night was spent with her at the toilet. So there, that's why she was so hungry, because she actually had nothing in her stomach. But don't tell her I told you, I will get so told off and I don't know how she feels about spreading that out."

I tug on Leah's finger and whisper "Le, shhhh, stop talking, im tired, I want sleep."
She strokes my face and replies "sorry my love. Okay you go to sleep. I will stop talking now and I will wake you up in a bit."

I snuggle back into her and fall into a deep, coma-like, sleep for 4 hours of the journey. I slept tight to Leah, holding onto her finger the whole time, tugging slightly if I stirred, which Leah put to rest by stroking my face.

A/N: not much to say really
Bit of a filler chapter and im sorry its so short 😢
I am trying to balance my school and this book whilst also playing a lot of football and keeping a social life on top of that
Sorry for that rant to you guys 😂 i didn't mean it just want you to know my chapters are coming, even if they are slow
But also. Arsenal vs Chelsea today...
Who do you guys reckon is gonna win!?!?!?
Personally I think 2-1 Arsenal (with a goal from Leah ofc!! especially since that ACC brace ❤️❤️❤️)
