After we finish our training for the day we have to do a quick 45 minute session in the gym.

I don't know why, but I love the gym. It's so refreshing and I'm always so excited to go there and see the difference I make each day.

I don't want to work my legs too much today because they will have no strength for what's gonna happen later so I decide to work on my arms.

As I'm almost finished with my workout, I notice Leah trying to talk to Beth but staring over at me instead.

I smirk to myself and pull my top up to wipe the sweat off my face, exposing my toned abs for Leah to see.

I pull the top back down and see Leah practically drooling from the sight of that.

"Hey, what's that?" Katie asks, pointing to the scar on my stomach.

"Oh- it's nothing, don't worry." I brush it off, hoping to not go into any detail.

"It kinda looks like... a butterfly. Don't you think Jords?" Katie states, getting more people involved in this than needed.

"Katie, you can't just go around asking people what's on their stomachs, but yes, it does look a bit like a butterfly." Jordan says, sending me a sympathetic smile. She already knows about it because I told her a while ago about it when she brought it up.

"Thank you." I mouth to her as they both walk off.

I walk over to Leah and Beth, asking one of them to spot me while I do my final exercise.

Both of them decided to spot me as they wanted to continue their conversation.

I lay down on the table thing and start my set.

"Beth, you know my cousin?" Leah asks Beth, now being louder so that I was able to hear.

"Which one?" Beth questions, keeping her eyes on me incase of an accident.

"You know, Cassandra?" Leah confirms, emphasising the name.

Excuse me. Did she just say Cassandra? As in Cassandra from the texts?

"Oh yeah? What about her?" Beth asks, pulling the bar up from me so I can have a quick break.

"Well I was gonna ask if she wanted to meet up with me on the weekend but when I clicked on her name it turns out I had already looked at a message from her asking me if I wanted to meet up but I never don't reply to messages. I always reply straight away. And I don't remember looking at a message from her either." Leah explains to Beth. I can't help but listen to their conversation and immediately feel guilty about it.

"Oh- that is odd. Do you know why?" Beth asks again, obviously knowing why this has happened.

I position myself again to do another set and begin again.

"Well, I'm not really sure. I messaged her before I got to mums and her message came through and was read when we were there so it only makes sense that my mum or dad read it." She pretends to think. She already knows I saw it, but I'm not gonna give in.

"Hmm. Did your parents ever have your phone when you were there?" Beth continues asking, again helping me with my weights.

"No. The only other person who used my phone other than me was Jess. But Jess wouldn't look through my messages, would you Jessy?" Leah asks me, turning her attention to me.

Shit, what?

I decide to try and get out of this situation by starting my last set. I just shake my head no at her and try to regulate my breathing.
