I was peacefully sitting by a tree, carving a brach into an arrow, when I noticed Rick and Glenn rushing off the farm and over to the vehicles. I was about to get up and ask them were they were going, but they quickly hopped into T-Dog's truck and sped off.
I looked up from my carving and noticed Lori and Maggie rushing about the farm, so I put my carving tools down and stood up, then walked over to Lori, who was chatting to Carol in a panic.
I tapped her shoulder, causing her to turn and raised a brow.
"What's going?"
I scanned everyone over.
"Why does everyone seem like they're in a panic?" I asked.
A look of relief wasged over Lori's face.
"Y/n! Thank goodness! There you are!"
"Uh..is something...wrong..?"She took my shoulder and lead me away from Carol and closer to the houses porch.
"Beth's gone into shock and Hershel is nowhere to be found." She explained.
I thought for a moment, then shook my head.
"Impossible, he was in the house just a couple hours ago..."
Lori shook her head.
"Well, he's not there now. I was just asking Carol to look after the kids..."
She sighed.
"Maggie and I are doing the best we can for Beth...but we need Hershel."
I pieced everything together.
"I'm guessing that's where Glenn and Rick have gone? To find Hershel?"
She nodded and let out a deep breath.
"Hopefully they'll be back soon..."
I hummed in thought, feeling a little guilty, then looked to her with an unsure glance.
"Is there-uh...anything I can do...to help?"
She shook her head and grabbed my hands as she turned to face me.
"Unless you can treat a person in shock, then no."
She gave me a serious look.
"Can you keep a look-out on the farm please? Make sure everyone stays safe?...Whilst Rick's gone?"
I pressed my lips together.
"Sure, but..."
I eyed her careful.
"What about shane?"
She let out a frustrated sigh.
"He's off somewhere with Andrea...God knows where..."
She gave me a firm nod and patted my shoulder.
"So as far as I'm concerned, you're in charge for now."
Before I could say anything else, or even agree, she quickly rushed inside.
"Right...Great..." I muttered to myself.------------------------------------------------------------
I sat on Dale's RV, bow resting on my lap, for a long time. The first few hours I conversed with Dale for a while, but after some time, he decided he'd go look for Andrea...she and Shane had been gone for a long time...
It just kind of seemed like everything was falling apart all at once...
It was around sunset, when I noticed Lori stomping away from Daryl's campsite and over to me with an annoyed look on her face. I was willing to bet she'd just argued with him...
Then again, she always looked at least a little annoyed...and she was coming back from Daryl's campsite...
Lori paused below the RV and called for me to come down.
"Y/n! Can you come down a second please!?"
I hummed a nod.
"Sure..."
I quickly climbed down the ladder.
"What's the matter?" I asked.
She searched around the farm.
"Rick still not back yet?"
I shook my head once my feet where on the ground.
She gave me a worried look.
"It's getting late, they should have found Hershel by now..."
I looked to the setting sun, then back to her.
"I'm sure they'll be back soon."
She nodded and went to leave, but turned and said one more thing.
"Can you convince Daryl to look for them?"
She paused for a moment.
"If they're still not back soon..?"
I grumbled and leaned against the RV.
"Why me? You know we don't get along."
She gave me a pleading look.
"Please? Just try?"
She grabbed my shoulder.
"For me? For Carl...please."
I grumbled a sigh, reluctantly agreeing, knowing that if I didn't she'd just keep asking.
"Fine..."
I eyed his campsite from afar.
"I'll go talk to him..."A couple minutes later, I walked over to Daryl's little camp. He was sitting on the edge of a rock, carving arrows, just like I was earlier. His jacket was hanging on the nearby broken, stone furnace and a small fire was lit nearby.
