Double A/N:.....I'm sorry....that's all...
Prepare the tissues...and life support...

I felt uneasy as I watched Rick walk over to the fence through the scope of my rifle. Really, I just wanted to shoot Andrea and be done with it, but...I can't exactly afford to be reckless when there's a tank and quite a few people with a lot guns at our door...
If it was just a large group with guns I'd take the chance, despite our numbers, we're all good shots and we'd have the advantage of having cover. It's just the damn tank...if that thing actually works...
Where the fuck did she even get a god damn tank anyway!?
I shook my head and took a breath, trying to focus on everything.
As much as I just wanted to shoot her and be done with it...there was not such an easy way out right now. One shot and they'd definitely all retaliate...
Then again...I have a feeling they won't be leaving peacefully regardless...
Glenn glanced at me.
"You okay?"
I took a deep breath and nodded.
"Yeah...I just...have a bad feeling."
He nodded and frowned slightly.
"Me too..."
He shook his head and smiled at both Maggie and I.
"But, hey...maybe Andrea has finally learnt her lesson? She was our friend once, right?"
I grumbled.
"Friend is an...incredibly loose term for her. She was tolerated, if that."
Maggie nodded in agreement.
"And she has a tank, Glenn. If she was really here to apologise-"
He shrugged.
"Maybe...maybe it's an apology gift..? You know...to make up for...
everything..."
I snorted and became sarcastic.
"Ah, yes...those well known "apology tanks" that roll up at your door armed and with an army..."
"Well...it's dangerous outside the fence, maybe-"
Maggie sighed.
"Glenn...I love you, and I get you're trying to look on the brightside, but...I really don't think she's here to apologise..."
He frowned and looked through his scope.
"I...I know...I just..."
He sighed.
"I just wanna hope...you know?"
I sighed softly and nodded.
"I know, Glenn...we both do."The three of us stopped talking and focused on watching everything through our scopes, trying to determine what was going on.
We could only hear Andrea and Rick occasionally, when they were yelling, so for the most part, we had to lip read to try and get the jist of the conversation...
which, thanks to Glenn, I was actually half decent at...I guess it pays off to have a talkative best friend who never shuts up...sometimes.
And...now that I looked around...it was clear those "warning shots" Glenn and I had heard earlier, where not warning shots at all...
There were a few bodies scattered around the courtyard...none from our main group, luckily, but...Axel was dead on the ground with a bullet sized hole in his head...and he was...he was an alright guy.
Not that he was the only one...
"Dear God..." Glenn muttered, noticing the corpses.
It was clear he had just realised...that the chance of Andrea coming here to apologise...
Was extremely small.
Glenn took a breath.
"If they opened fire like that...why did they suddenly stop?"
Maggie shook her head.
"I don't know...she-"
I answered bluntly.
"She's nuts. I highly doubt she's thinking clearly."
He was silent for a moment, still wanting to retain some hope.
"But...she stopped, right? I mean...why stop? A lot of us weren't out here or weren't armed. If she wanted to just kill us-"
I frowned.
"Revenge isn't exactly sweet if your enemy just dies without a fight..."
Maggie glanced at me.
"So you think...?"
I nodded and turned back to my scope and narrowed my eye.
"She's done it on purpose...she knows what she's doing."
I could hear the concern in Glenn's voice.
"Maybe...there's still a chance that she will come around?"
Maggie sighed.
"Maybe..."
I hummed.
"But it's not likely."
