Pulling away from Bernard, Noel takes in the missing breaths leaning her head on his. 'B?' She whispers in his ear, his lips exploring her neck. The head elf looks up with seductive eyes searching Noels flustered face. 'Snowbell?' He whispers. Noel pushes him away feeling his arms around her waist, looking into each others eyes with silence around them she smiles. 'What is this?' She asks. Bernard looks her up and down, taking in her beauty. Their eyes connecting again, he takes a deep breath, his heart thumping in his chest. 'I'm not sure.' He whispers as the sound of a group of elves walk pass the office. Noel looks up at him, feeling a strange feeling.'I'm afraid.' Bernard says softly, making Noel tilt her head at him in confusion. 'Afraid of what?' She asks, lifting her hand to move a piece of hair from his red face.
'I'm afraid that I'm falling in love with you.' The head elf admitts looking down at the floor. Noel's glittery cheeks glow as she cups his face before bringing her lips to his. Bernard melts into the kiss, his hands traveling Noel's body.
Fireworks!
Pulling away from Bernard, Noel looks up at him her eyes wide, 'I'm falling too.' She giggles as she lowers her head into Bernard's shoulder. 'Really?' Bernard smiles, lifting her chin with his fingers. Noel smiles and nods, her smile growing wider and wider. 'Really.' She repeats pulling the head elf in for another quick kiss.
'Wait. What does this mean?' She asks pulling way from him quickly. 'I don't know.' Bernard says stroking Noels cheek with his thumb. 'I've never done this before.'
'Me neither.' Noel giggles, as she pulls away from his grip. Making her way to the desk in the middle of the room she notices the painting she'd done so many months before. 'You still have it.' She says picking it up, running her fingers across the edge. 'Um, yeah.' Bernard says shyly as he walks over to her. 'It's a piece of beauty,' He smiles, placing his hands on her shoulders rubbing them softly. 'That's because it's you.' Noel smiles, turning her head to him, making the head elf blush.
'Be my girlfriend.' Bernard asks without hesitation. Noel looks at him, her smile disappearing for a moment, 'I... I mean if your not ready thats fine, I. sor-' Noel cuts him off with her lips. Her hand dropping the painting, finding it's way to his cheek. 'B, I'd love to.' She smiles.

After talking together for a few minutes, the pair decide to go down to the workshop and join the other elves with a cider. Quintin comes over and sits next to Bernard, a cider in his hand. 'Hey, you two.' He smiles with a knowing eye. 'Hiya.' Bernard greets him before taking a sip of cider through his bendy straw. 'Hey, Quintin.' Noel smiles. 'Have you heard anything from Scott and Charlie. She asks looking eagerly at the elf.
'Nothing yet.' He says with his strong accent. Taking another sip from her drink, Noel looks up at Bernard with a smile. The night was going well until Judy comes running in with the news no one wanted to hear.
'We've got a problem,' She shouts down from the balcony making Noel, Bernard and Quintin look up. 'Santa was at the Miller's, but he's not responding.' At these words, Noel humps in her seat, her heart dropping with the words of the young elf. 'W..what?' She mutters. Bernard turns to her, feeling her fear. He quickly turns to Quintin within a second.
'Time to deply E.L.F.S.' Quintin says with a grin. 'Let's go.' Bernard demandsas he jumps from his seat before running over to a bell in the wall. Ringing it louldly alarms the elves including Noel. 'W..What's going on?' She stutters as she runs over to the panicking head elf. Bernard grabs her shoulders in comfort. 'It's going to be ok, Snowbell.' He comforts her, placing a kiss on her head before running off towards a big wooden door. The letters 'E.L.F.S' engraved in the top.
