Chapter 18

JiU's POV
It took a while, but Y/N was finally done, and due to a 10 minute warning, I had already gotten the fries for her, and maybe a couple other bits, luckily I barely managed to keep them hot, so they'll still be good.

"How was that?" I asked once they let me back in the room

"Well- not the best, I'm not going to lie" she chuckled

"Really? Wouldn't have guessed" I sarcastically replied "you hungry?" I asked

"That's an understatement, I wasn't expecting it to take this long" she replied, luckily the doctor couldn't get offended as she couldn't hear, and she didn't mean it in that way.

"Good thing I got us food then?" I asked "still hot too- hopefully" I chuckled

Y/N's POV
"It doesn't have to be burning, it's the thought that counts no?" I replied with a chuckle

"I guess so, but I still hope it is" she replied with a giggle

"I mean- fair enough" I nodded, JiU came over and sat next to the bed, placing the food about.

"You like?" She asked

"Of course" I chuckled

"Oh good- I didn't have a clue what to get you" she let out a relieved sigh

"Food is food at the end of the day, anything's good" I chuckled

After that we ate, then we got another rundown of things from the doctor, and then we discussed how to go about it, JiU insisted she stay for a while, so she can help me out when it's necessary, catching the hint that she's the only one who was aware of my injury, other than Karina and Winter of course, but she doesn't need to know about those two. After a lot of persuading I agreed, she'll sleep in the spare room and come in whenever I need it, but obviously I'm not going to ask for help a lot. As I don't plan on being the needy damsel in distress. Not ever.

After we arrived back at my place it was pretty late, so we made some small snacks and went to bed, but after a few minutes of me getting into bed JiU came in with two glasses of milk, I looked at her in confusion

"What? You don't go to bed with warm milk??" She asked, I shook my head hesitantly "is 'Ms Superior' too mature for a bit of warm milk?" She mocked, referencing to our first meeting on that mission

"Seriously?" I asked with a look of disbelief

"I asked a question." She countered "you too good for my homemade warm milk or not?" She asked, i looked at the girl speechless for a moment

"No I am not 'too good for some warm milk' how long are you going to hold that mission against me?" I groaned

"First of all, good, at least you're aware that you are not superior to a good late night warm milk 2. Forever and always. I won't ever let you be free from that mission." She replied with a smug grin

"I'm so excited for the future teasing!" I sarcastically replied

"Watch your mouth, I can easily take this milk for myself." She shrugged

"Woah- no, no... pass it over... you are not robbing my milk." I replied, she let out an amused chuckle and handed me one of the glasses of milk.

"Right choice." She said "hopefully this'll help you heal quicker, protein is good for your muscles and tissue, helps 'em heal quicker, hopefully a bit of this now and before that- thing... with your sisters, you'll manage to get through the day" she said "also here's the painkillers the doctor suggested, take them with your milk- or don't- I can't really tell you what to do with them" she shrugged
