"Hello, how man-" the girl stopped talking and smiled upon seeing us
"We're back~" I chuckled
"Table for 2?" Dami asked with a smirk
"Sure, but you and Handong are always invited to join us~ we haven't spoken for a small while" I chuckled
"It's not even been that long" she chuckled
"Feels it" I replied, the girl just chuckled shaking her head
"You seem so tough, but you are so clingy" Handong smiled as she came from behind Dami
"Don't start." I chuckled
"Fine, fine" she replied "at some point, we need to meet for a meal outside of this place." She chuckled
"I know, Siyeon and Gahyeon miss you guys" I replied "and I'm sure they'll be happy to introduce you to their new partners" I smiled. Handong then smirked as if she wanted to speak about this, but didn't want to be the one who brought it up "oh dear." I mumbled
"Speaking of... how'd the date go?" Handong asked, leading us to a table, using it as an excuse to talk without holding the line up, Dami joined the conversation after asking someone else to handle the line for the next 'few' minutes
"Not perfect I won't lie" I replied
"How come?" Dami asked
"There was someone at the cafe who I knew for the wrong reasons, sort of just ruined the mood a bit" I shrugged
"Romantic mood?" Handong asked
"No, friendly mood, majority of them were super kind and JiU knew someone else there." I replied
"Bad way too?" Dami asked
"No, it was someone who worked for the police in my old town." JiU smiled
"Good way then?" Asked Dami
"Definitely" JiU smiled
We spoke with them about the 'date' missing out a few minor details.
Before we knew it the day had passed by, and it was time to leave. You know what they say 'time flies when you're having a good time'
"Can I walk you home?" JiU asked, Handong's eyes glistened with joy, and I just looked at the girl in confusion.
"Uh- sure" I replied, the girl gave me a small adorable smile in return.
"Oh, by the way, Dami and I will join you and your sisters on your next group date, if there will be one" Handing smiled
"Yeah, we wanna catch up with them" Dami smiled as well
"They'll be happy to hear" I smiled "I'll let them know when I get back home" I said
"You better" said Dami
"I'll make sure to message her nonstop, you can join me if you wanna imprint it in her brain" JiU shrugged suggestively
"I will!" I said "promise" I said
"Good, we'll see you two next time" Handong smiled
"See you" we waved and headed out
"What do you wanna talk about?" I asked, assuming that she had something to say and that's why she decided to walk me home. The girl side eyed me seemingly interested
"What do I wanna talk about?" She asked "do you have something you want to talk about?" She asked
"Not really." I replied
