(A.N: This chapter and the next are pretty heavy on the trauma. If you're uncomfortable with that, you can skip them, they will be mentioned again, so you'll still understand the story, just not in depth)

When I figured he was safe I took my leave "lock up chief." I warned before leaving the apartment

As I walked along the street I saw a taxi, I can't walk home like this. I was too awake. Not ready. Not finished.

"Taxi!" I called with my arm out, the taxi pulled over as soon as he saw me

"How can I help?" Asked the man

"Take me to ******" I told the man

"That's the opposite side of Seoul, are you sure?" He said

"Certain, I'm not worried about the cost" I smiled, the man nodded, filling the drive with small talk

"How come you're heading there so late?" He asked "are you travelling?" He asked

"No, I live close to the district you picked me up" I said "I'm going to talk to someone" I said, the man gave me a strange look in the rearview mirror

"So late?" He asked

"I've had a busy day, this is my first opportunity" I said "how about you? Has your day been easy?" I asked

"This is the best job I've had today, the farthest job." He said "all my other jobs have been around the city centre, and with us getting paid by the distance- I wouldn't say I've had the best day" he replied

"Well then, I'm glad I caught you" I chuckled

"Definitely made my hours more worth it" he smiled

And in no time we made it to the location

"Here's your total, cash or card?" He asked

"Here" I said handing him the notes "keep any extra" I said

"What- this is a big money tip" he said as he looked at the cash

"We'll say it's for your customer service. Most taxi drivers are quiet and miserable, you weren't" I said and got out of the car

"Thank you!" He said before I closed the door, I smiled as the man drove away and then entered the building heading straight to the bar.

Bad idea right? I know- but at least I'll sleep tonight.

"How can we help?" Asked a young girl, with the badge reading Lia asked

"Could I have a fruit cider? Or like five-" I said

"One at a time" she chuckled "any specific cider?" She asked

"Whatever you recommend" I said and she gave me a bottle and a glass with ice as a choice

"Are you okay ma'am?" She asked

"Not great" I shrugged "why?" I asked

"You sound absolutely, miserable" she said "and we get paid by the hour so I don't mind listening to some rants, I've heard some awesome stories during my shifts" she said

"Don't worry about it, I'm not nearly as interesting as that" I chuckled "same old story, you've probably heard a thousand times before" I said

"Well I'm all ears if you end up drunk and sobbing" she said with a small chuckle

"Thanks" I said with a small smile

10 minutes and 4 drinks down, a familiar pair entered the bar. Guess they're swapping shifts or just coming off break. Lia approached them spoke to them for a small bit then went back to work.
