"Right?" I asked

"I suggest you fix whatever mistakes you made with the waitresses, and ask them, they seem to know more than me." She said "Go home, we're done here" she said

"Thank you." I mumbled

I stood up, holding my hand out for my gun which Lisa hesitated to give me, but she felt assured after seeing that Jisoo still had a gun just in case and handed it over nonetheless.

I have no evidence to prove she was with Heechul and as bad as it sounds, I was quite happy with that.

I did the same as far as I'm concerned, I changed my name and started a new life after a traumatic event. She did too. I still have my doubts, but I have no reason to change the way I act with her, she basically told me all that anyways, she just hid the bad parts. I've done that too. It's too soon to go that deep anyways.

Right?

Eventually I found comfort in my delusions and decided to leave it that way. After all, everyone is innocent until proven guilty...

RIING*

A familiar sound. But who would be calling? I told everyone I wasn't in the mood to talk. I read the contact and it was chief.

"Sorry to call you in, but we have a lead on Heechul and I thought I should give you the opportunity to decide whether you're in or out, instead of assuming that you wouldn't because of your arm." He said

"You made the right choice, I just got home but I'll quickly turn around now." I said

"Thought you would" he replied "see you soon." He said and ended the call

Just like I said, I was quick to get to work and took a minute to mentally prepare myself for what's ahead.

"What's the lead from?" I asked Daniel as soon as I made it to the office

"Believe it or not, Kai." He said

"And you believe that?" I asked

"We have to follow any leads." He said with a shrug, I just nodded quietly, getting ready with his help. "Are you sure you're ready to be back?" He asked

"More than. It's only an arm, I've fought through worse." I said

"I'm sure you have" he said, but the concern in his eyes was still very clear

"Its JiU coming in today?" I asked

"Chiefs calling her in, probably better to have each others back and she can help you as she's got nothing more than a small cut on her head and you're still broken" he said

"Right" I said

"Don't sound too impressed." He said sarcastically

"Oh, sorry" I chuckled

"Are you okay Y/N?" He asked

"I've just learnt a lot of information today and I'm trying not to get overwhelmed by it all so I can focus on this mission." I said

"If you say so" he mumbled

Eventually everyone was ready and we headed to the lead, a beach quite a drive away, JiU was going to meet us there as she still needed to do something

When she arrived we all headed into position and prepared ourselves for the task ahead.

Suddenly tonnes of cars approached the beach, Heechul and his gang.

"Don't move. Stay in position." Chief demanded

"We've been lead into the middle of a gang war." Daniel grumbled
