"Heyyyy." A female voice called.
"Hey, y/n!" They called again.
Their chuckles seemed to float in the air.
"Y/n, come on! Wake up!"

My body felt heavy, my eyes were glued shut and my chest felt tight. Where was I? Was I dead? Was this what death felt like?

I felt ripples on my skin as I heard footsteps approach. My body felt cold and wet. Was I laying in water? A lake maybe? The ripples danced against my bare skin. I felt a presence lean over me.

"Y/n, get up! I'm supposed to be the lazy one!" The woman joked.
I wanted to answer. Ask who she was, where I was, what was I feeling? But my lips wouldn't move, they felt sewn shut. I tried to move, but it was like I was glued to the floor.

I felt something soft touch my face. A hand. As well as something wet dripping down my cheeks.
"Come on now, y/n. Don't say you don't remember me?"
My head began to spin. I knew her? Did I? I began to feel like I was on a record, spinning round and round. My head felt like it was about to burst.

"Come on, y/n. I know you remember me."
My throat felt dry. I'm sure I was moving my mouth, trying to talk, but I couldn't feel it. I couldn't say a word. My throat began to feel tighter and tighter. I felt more droplets on my face. Was I drowning?

"Think, y/n. Think." They chanted.
I felt ripples around me as well as a soft breeze. They were circling me.
"Think. Think. Think. Think." They chanted.
They kept circling me, the breeze they made getting harsher and colder.
"Think. Think. Think."
I tried opening my eyes but they were still glued shut. I felt like I was going insane. My body felt hot and cold, my skin felt like it was crawling.
"Think. Think"
My head began to spin. It felt like I was being used as a hammer, my head continuously being smashed down.
"Think"
Their voice echoed and echoed.
"STOP" I managed to scream.

Everything suddenly went silent. The breeze calmed, as did the ripples. The spinning began to slow and my skin felt slightly cooler.

"It's about time." She called.
I managed to wiggle my head, trying to find the location of the voice. My eyes still wouldn't open, but I could hear. I could hear every little thing.

I heard her whistling and her shuffling footsteps. I heard her giggles and the screeching of her nails. I heard the ripples and the dripping.

"Who?" I managed to call. My voice felt weak, my throat felt like it was about to rip apart just by saying that alone.
The woman laughed.
"It's me. You know who I am, don't you?"
"No..."
There was silence. All her actions seemed to stop.

Suddenly I felt someone right on top of me. They breathed onto my face. It was suffocating. I felt them lean on my chest, crushing me.
"I'm Zoe" She whispered.
"Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Zoe" She sang.

My head began to spin again, it felt heavy, but not heavier than my heart.
"No...you're.."
"Dead?" She asked.
I felt her hand stroke my hair. It was cold. Icy cold. And wet.
"Did you wish I was?"
"No.."
"But it's your fault you know." A similar voice echoed.
"No..no..-"

I felt a splash of water was over my face and my eyes shot open. She was in front of me. Zoe.
"Ignore her, y/n. It wasn't your fault." She said.
My head began spin again.
