We sat in the kitchen, back in Zoe's apartment, all huddled around the counter, eating cans of peaches.

"I'm startin' to miss Carol's cookin'." Daryl groaned.
Glenn sighed and clinked his fork against his can.
"Me too."
"Peaches aren't that bad. I like 'em." I chirped.
Maggie rolled her eyes and chuckled.
"You love sweet things, of course you like the peaches."
Daryl chuckled, shoving a peach in his mouth.
"Yea', yer like an overgrown kid."
I stared at them, my cheeks full of peaches.
"No...I'mf...nawt.."
"You definitely eat like one." Glenn teased.
"I'mf..humgry..shud..upf.."
Glenn shook his head, smiling.
"You get weirder every day."
"I'd..waver...be..weirfd..tham...borminf."
Daryl raised a brow and acted like I was speaking some kind of alien language.
"Ye wha'?"
"She'd rather be weird than boring." Maggie explained.
"Woah, you're like, a y/n translator." Glenn joked.
I glared at him, pointing my fork to him.
"Wike..yew..domt..stufff..yoor..fwace."
Glenn looked to Maggie.
"She's being sassy."She shrugged.
Daryl patted my shoulder.
"Poor thing can't communicate, maybe we should adopt her."
"Scwew..yew."

We had a peaceful meal together, well..I might have thrown a fork or two at Daryl but, that's neither here nor there.

We decided to talk for a while after dinner, discussing random things. Well, when I say we, I mean Glenn, Maggie and I. Daryl wasn't much of a talker, to others anyway. He spoke to me...when I tolerated him...

We were still sat in the kitchen, but now I sat beside Maggie, and Glenn stood opposite us. Maggie was resting her head on my chin and we held hands behind the counter.

"So she flew down this huge slide, SKAPLOOSH! She hits this poor old dude right in his denchers, making them fly out his mouth like a torpedo! Knocked him out cold! He sank right to the bottom of the pool! The lifeguards had to rescue him."
I blinked my eyes at Glenn's story.
"You..I..you had a very peculiar life Glenn." I said.
Glenn chuckled and scratched his head.
"Yeah..it was pretty lively. I gotta say though, it sounds like nothing compared to your life before everything, Y/n."
I grinned and wiggled my eyebrows.
"My life was fun, not peculiar."
"Glenn's life sounds fun, if you ask me." Maggie said.
"Yeahhh, if you've lived on a farm your whole life, no offence, Glenn."
Glenn chuckled and raised his arms in surrender.
"From you? None taken. Your life sounded wild."
Maggie bit my shoulder in protest.
"Ow! Mags!"
"Stop being sassy." She mumbled against my shoulder.
I shrugged her off and rolled my eyes, pointing my thumb to her.
"Isn't she bossy, Glenn?"
Maggie pinched my arm, making Glenn laugh.
"She seems more aggressive than bossy, to you anyway."
"I know right! She's totally-"

Maggie got up, begging to leave, but before she did, she rested her hands on my shoulders and leaned into my ear. Her breath tickled my neck as she whispered.

"I'll show you aggressive..."
She chuckled and sneakily nibbled my ear.
"I'll see you in the bedroom...my little bunny."
She pulled away, but kept her hands on my shoulders, gripping them tightly. Then looked over to Glenn.
"I'm tired, see you in the morning."
Glenn nodded and waved her off.
"Sleep well."
"Oh, I will."
"Night, y/n.." She sang.
"N..night. I'll try not to..wake you later..."
She chuckled and slowly pulled her hands away, then walked out.

I felt my face heat up and I just knew my ears were bright red. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself before Glenn noticed.

He smiled innocently at me.
"You two seem close."

I immediately internally panicked at his words. Did he know? Was I too obvious? I did stutter...goddammit, y/n. A million thoughts raced through my head before I forced myself to calm down again. Relax, breathe. He probably meant we're close friends...
