After the parking lot, I was still reeling with emotions. I was walking to my apartment, with a huge smile on my face, thinking about the things that had just happened.

I finally get to my apartment and walk through the doors.

"Dad, I'm home." I yell.

"Cass, can you come to my office for a minute." he yells back. I walk to the office to see dad sitting behind his desk and Allison sitting on the chair across from him. "Please have a seat sweetheart, we need to talk." he says. I go and seat and the empty seat across from him, and next to Allison.

"Dad, what's going on?" I ask.

"Allison told me about what you said to her on the field trip, about how you know what we are. What exactly do you think we are?" My dad says.

I was pondering on telling them the true. I know if I do, they are going to question me about it. Yet it might be good to just get it out there, so they don't keep things from me anymore. I must have been thinking because I can hear my dad clear his throat.

"Cass?" he says.

"You're werewolf hunters."

Both of them looked to each other, I got it right.

"How do you know?"

"Because Alaric told me. He told me everything about you and what you do. I know what really happened to mom, how she didn't commit suicide, and how she was turning into a werewolf."

They look to each other again, my dad sighs and look down.

"Look, Cassie we were going to tell you. We just didn't know when to do it. Especially with everything going around right now."

"You mean the alpha pack and the darach." I say.

"So, you know, how?" Dad says.

"Jay and I figured it out when Erica and Boyd were missing and then we found out about the sacrifices and everything by listening in on them."

"How did you listen in?" Allison says, speaking for the first time tonight.

"Jay, he's not exactly human." I say.

"What the hell is he?" my dad says, sounding angry.

"A hybrid of two different creatures. A werewolf and a vampire."

"Vampire? Vampires exist?" Allison says, sounding surprise.

"Yeah, they do, Mystic falls was littered with them." I say, picking at my nails.

"Shit, I sent you there for your safety." Dad says. Looking down disappointed in himself.

"I was safe. I made friends with them. They would do anything for me." I said, getting defensive for my friends.

"There monster Cassandra. They are not your friends."

"So, what you're saying that I'm a monster too."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Dad says, looking up.

"Dad, I'm a vampire. I got turned into one last year, Halloween. So, if their monster's I'm a monster to then." As soon as it came out of my mouth, I instantly regrated it. I didn't mean to tell them, I just got so defensive for my friends it just slipped out. I get up from my chair and head to the door, neither of them stopping me. I turn around to look at them and yet neither of them looking at me. I leave the apartment, tears streaming down my face.

I get outside of the apartment. Pondering on what I was going to do. I decided I was going to return to Mystic falls and stay there. Not wanting to be in Beacon Hills and being with my family, who couldn't even look at me anymore. I start running to my real home.
