We finally arrived at the apartment complex we both live at. We walked through the apartment complex and stepped into the elevator. We finally reached his level and go to his apartment and stepped through.
"Nice place." I said sitting down my things at the door.
"Thanks, so what do you want to do first?" He askes
"Let's do the linking spell." I say, getting out my things for the spell. I set a bunch of candles in the circle with salt linking them all together. "I need your blood." I say, getting out a knife. He hands me his hand and I lightly cut into him, His blood hits the table in a puddle. I than cut my hand and the blood splatters on the table in a different spot. "Alright let's start this shit."
"Phasmatos tribum meian veras raddium unu pavadus ponemur." I repeat this spell over and over again, the blood on the table starts merging together. I keep repeating until the blood is now one, and the candles burn extremely bright than die down, I stop the spell.
"Did it work?" Jay asks.
"Only one way to find out." I take the knife and prick my finger with the tip of the knife. As soon as I pricked it Jay hisses in pain, and looks to his finger, the same finger I pricked myself with. "Guess it worked." I say. I put down the knife.
Jay and I took base at his kitchen table, researching whatever could be doing the sacrifices in this town. About an hour in, we still have nothing.
I finally found a website about a fivefold knot; I didn't think much of it until I drew it down on a piece of paper. I was about to say something about it when Jay spoke instead.
"Hey, I found something on sacrifices."
"What about sacrifices." I ask.
"There's a website about patterns and how human sacrifices are in 5-3 patterns. Like 5 types and 3 sacrifices each."
I started writing down virgins in one of the knots. "So, what are the 5 types of sacrifices they usually do?" I ask.
"Um, virgins, warriors, healers, philosophers, guardians." he says, as he's saying the words, I'm writing them down in the spaces of the knots.
"It all makes sense." I say, showing him the 5-fold knot.
"Holy shit, but who even do all of this?"
"A psychopath." I say.
"Right, but who in Beacon Hills who do anything like this, and why. Is what we still need to know." He says.
After he says this my phone chimes and it's my dad telling me it's dinner. "I gotta go. Dinner waits for me upstairs. Will you be, ok?" I ask. Gathering my things to leave.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm going to do more research on who might be doing this. I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yep, tomorrows are field trip for track, so I'll see you tomorrow at 8." I say, going towards the door. We exchange goodbyes and I leave to go to my house.
Dinner should be interesting, and in all honestly, I can't wait for tomorrow, being away from both dad and Allison.
I arrive at home to see dinner on the counter, ""Serve yourself Cass, you can eat in your room. Just make sure you bring back the dishes." Dad yells from his office.
I get my dinner, chicken Alferdo, and get to my room quickly. Not wanting to talk to Dad or Allison.
I eat my dinner watching tv, and once I finish, I bring back the dishes. Both Allison and dad are gone, of course.
I clean up dinner and get back to my room, getting myself a blood bag to drink while I do some more research on who could be wanting to do all of these things. My blood bag finishes and same with my research, accomplishing nothing.
I set my things down and get ready for bed, tomorrow was going to be shit show with everyone in a tiny bus with coach yelling the entire time.
I get into my bed and close my eyes, slumber hitting me fast.
