Chapter 15: I'm sorry? Sacrifices!

Teen Wolf: 3x04- Unleashed

I wake up the next morning, tired from yesterday and the night before. I groan at the events that had happened and force myself out of bed. 

Going over to my closet and pulling out an outfit for today. I put on a red and black plaid skirt with a black crop top, and a black cropped jean jacket.  I top the outfit with high top black converse, and I go to gather my things for school.

I make my way through the house, walking towards the front door I notice that nobody is home, of course. thankfully I won't have to deal with any awkwardness.

I make my way outside; I was looking around for Jay. We always rode together to school, yet he was nowhere to be found. That was odd, he was always on time for everything. I shrugged it off and continued on my way to school. I tried calling Jay, yet all his calls were getting declined. I was worried about it yet didn't let it get to me, I'll see him at school. 

I finally made it to school and was walking towards my first class, economics, when I see Scott in the hallway ending into the same class as me. 

"Hey Scotty." I say walking towards him. 

"Hey Cassie, how are you doing today?" He asks, as we walk into the classroom. 

"I'm doing well, how are you doing today?" I ask, talking my seat behind him.

Scott was about to say something when Coach walked in and began the lesson. 

We were about halfway through the lesson when Jay finally decided to show up. He took his seat to the left of me. I look over to him with a death look, and the only thing he could do was look away, something was up. 

He handed me a note, not 5 minutes later. 

We need to talk, after class. Urgent 

I read the note, and looked to him, Jay still wouldn't make eye contact. I tapped on his desk, and he looked at me, for the first time that day. All I did was smile and nod my head.

After class, I went over to Jay, and he led me to a janitorial closet. He closed the door and locked it behind him. 

"Jay, what is going on?" I asked, confused at his tactics. 

"Do you have sage?" 

"What?" 

"Do you have sage, so you can light it so no one can hear, including supernatural's." Jay says explaining himself.

"Of course, I always carry sage on me." I take out the sage and light it with my mind. "Now tell me what the hell is going on." 

""I killed someone, drained them of their blood and everything. I lost control."

"Jay, what the fuck. How did you lose control?" I asked, pacing around the small room. Thayt explains why my dad tried to give me vervain. 

"Klaus, he killed my family." He says, trying not to cry remember the awful events. 

"Why would Klaus kill your family." 

"He found out about what happened in Mystic falls yesterday, with your ex-boyfriend." 

"Danny? Danny wasn't my ex-boyfriend; he was my rapist who killed me." I said. "Why the hell is Klaus so protective of me." I ask myself. 

"Because you're like him, a hybrid of two different creatures." Jay says. 

"Omg, this is so stupid." I say

"Well, he doesn't think so. He's giving me one more chance to protect you, or else he'll kill me. I don't know what to do, I never know when you need help." He says, looking in defeat of the problem. 

"Well, I could link our lives together. So, whenever each of us gets hurt the other will know. that way you know when I'm in danger and I'll know when you're in trouble." 

"That could work." He says. 

"Well do it tonight, but right now we have class to attend." I go over to the sage and put it out. 

We exit the janitorial closet and head are separate ways to class, I go to art class and Jay goes to gym class. 

I was midway through my art class; I got a message from Jay.

Jay

Meet me after class, same janitorial closet. 

Weird, why the hell does he wants to meet there again. 

Immediately after class, I'm jogging to the closet to meet Jay, I get to the closet and go in, Jay's already there sitting on the ground. I close the door and lock it, lighting the sage from earlier. 

"Jay, what's going on? Why did you want to meet, again." I ask. 

"They found a body, on my jog in gym class. They found a dead body."

"Was it the body you killed?" 

"No, it was different, nothing supernatural. they were strangled with a garret and then their throat slashed, just like the other bodies they've been finding lately."

"What the hell is going on in this town, first an alpha pack, and now this."

"I overheard Stiles talk about it with Scott and Issaac, they think it's human sacrifices." 

"I'm sorry? Sacrifices? That's fucking crazy." I say. 

'it's not really crazy, they all died the same way, and guess what. The first 3 victims where all virgins. So, it's also going in a pattern." Jay says, coming to stand up beside me.

"Well, what about the latest victim, do you know if he was a virgin?" 

"Well, no. What if the pattern changes, like every 3 it goes to a new pattern but overall, it's one big thing." 

"That could be it." I say. 

"You could come over to my house tonight and we can research there and do that linking spell as well." 

"Alright, meet me at my car. We'll go to your house after school."

He nods his head, and at that were leaving the janitorial closet for the 2nd time today. The rest of the day goes by quickly, all people can talk about is the dead body in the woods. Soon enough school is over and I'm meeting Jay at my car. Ready to research what the hell is going on in this small as town.
