Chapter 23: Family once again

Teen wolf: 3x09- The girl who knew too much

I finally made it to Beacon Hills. Obviously my first stop should be my family, but I can't see them. Not yet anyways. So, I go see. Scott instead.

I get to his house and listen in, it's just him. It's the morning, so Scott hasn't left for school yet. His mother must have left for work already.

I knock on the door, I wait only a little until he opens the door.

"Cassie." he says, and walks over to me, giving me the biggest hug. "Your back, what are you doing back here."

"I wanted to see my family again. Before I die." I say, Scott pulls back instantly.

'What are you talking about?" he says, taking his hands to caress my face. The tears started coming out of my eyes.

"Can we talk inside." I said. He nods his head and walks inside. I walk but then was stopped by the door. "Can you invite me inside? I can't come in without consent. vampire thing" I say.

"Oh yeah of course. Cassie come in."

I smile to him and walk inside. We go up to his room and sit on the edge of the bed.

"So, what's happening?" he asks.

"Some things are happening in Mystic falls. Basically, the first ever vampire our in town. They are a thousand years old and are what we call the original vampires. Now the originals became the way they are from their mother, Esther, Esther is a very powerful witch. Esther has recently come back alive and wants to kill her kids. She linked all of their lives together. So, whatever happens to one, happens to all of them. She's linked my life to them as well. So, when they die, I'll die too. She's planning on killing them tonight, which mean's I'll die tonight." I said, holding Scott's hand, tears our coming from both of us.

"Is there a way to stop it. Cassie, I can't lose you."

"They're trying to figure out a way to stop it, but Scott if I'm being honest, I don't think there is a way." I said, squeezing his hand. "Which is why I am here. To say my goodbyes." I say.

"No Cassie, I can't lose you." he says, turning to look at me. Bringing his hands to my face. "Please.

"I'm sorry Scott, there is nothing that I can do about it." I say. I look over to the clock on his nightstand. "Scott, you have to get to school."

"No, I'm not leaving your side. Not now."

"Scott, you've missed enough school. Besides I have to talk to my dad." I said

"Fine, I'll go to school. You better be here afterwards." he says.

"Of course, I will." I lean in and kiss him. He instantly kisses me back. After kissing for a while, I pull back and stand up. "Alright let's get you to school."

He gathers his things, and we exit the house. He locks the door and heads to his motorbike.

"I'll see you later, right?" he asks, getting onto his bike.

"of course, Scotty." I say leaning in and giving him a peck on the lips.

He scoots his bike out and drives off. I see him leave, and once he's out of sight I run towards my apartment.

I finally get to the parking lot and see my dad walking towards his car. I follow behind him, and I guess he noticed because he turns around and points a gun at me. I raise my hands in defense.

"Hi dad." I say.

"Cassie." he says, still not lowering the gun. "What are you doing here."

"I'm here to say goodbye." I said, stepping closer. "I'm going to die tonight dad. I just wanted to see you again." I said. he lowers the gun and puts it away.
