I was walking down the road again, leaving the man I had just killed.

I was humming a nice tune in my head, I felt great, I didn't feel sadness, no remorse, nothing. I have no idea why I didn't turn off my humanity sooner.

I continue walking down the road, when I felt a gush of wind fly by me, and someone standing behind me. I turn around and saw Elijah.

"Hello Elijah, how can I help you?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"Where's Klaus?" He asks.

"Storage warehouse still." I said. "Alongside Jay and Alaric's burning bodies."

"Why would you do that?" He asks, stepping closer to me.

"Because they were dead, why not destroy the evidence. Now are we done here?" I ask, getting annoyed with the conversation.

"What's wrong with you?" He asks.

"Oh come on Elijah, you're a thousand years old, figure It out." I said, turning around and walking away from him, when he speeds to be right in front of me.

"You flipped off your humanity." He says, looking at me with sadness.

"Ding, ding, ding. Give the boy a prize." I said, and walked passed him.

"Cassie, why would you do that?" He ask, following me.

"I lost everything Elijah, I don't want to feel anymore." I said.

'What about your family in Beacon Hills?" He asks.

"Um, I'm a vampire. They're going to be dead in 80 years, and I'll still be alive. What does it matter?" I said.

"Cassie, just turn it back on." He says.

I turn around to look at him, "I don't want to turn it back on, and nothing is going to get me to turn it on." I said, walking closer to Elijah. "So how about you mind your own damn business." I said, grabbing his neck and snapping it.

He falls to the ground, I smile at this and speed away from him. Running to the Salvatores house.

When I get to the house, I realize that no one is going to be home, because they're all mourning Elena. I walked into the house, and to the basement, grabbing 4 blood bags, then walking back upstairs.

When I was walking back upstairs, someone walked through the front door. I get up from the basement and see Stefan walking upstairs. He must have heard me close the basement door, because he turned around before getting to the stairs.

"Cassie, you're ok." He says, coming up to me to hug me. Making me drop all the blood bags in my arms.

"Thanks Stefan, you made me drop my meal." I said, pushing him away from me, and bending over to pick up the blood bags.

"Cassie, what's wrong?" He asks.

"Oh nothing much, just flipped the switch." I said, smiling at him. His face instantly drops, and his look is serious.

"Cass, why would you do that?" He asks.

"Does it matter?" I said, walking past him to get to my room.

"Cassie, I can't have this happen." He says.

"And what are you going to do about it?" I ask, turning around to face him.

He goes to grab my neck, yet I block it and pin him to the wall. "You can try to stop me Stefan, but if you do. I will kill everyone you love, including your precious Elena." I said. "Oops, sorry. She's already dead."

"You don't know." He said.

"Know what?" I said, tightening my grip on his neck.

"Elena, she's a vampire now. She had vampire blood in her system when she died." He says, struggling to breath.

I pull away from him, and take my hand off his neck, "Elenas alive?"

"Technically yeah." He says,

"Well scratch that, she's back on the list of people I will kill if you try to turn my humanity back on." I said, I walk away from Stefan, grabbed my blood bags from the ground and began walking away to my room.

I sat there for a god hour sipping on the blood, and reading a book, when I got a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said, not paying attention to the door, and only to my book.

"Cass." I hear.

I move my head up to look at the person who came in and saw Damon. "Oh hello Damon." I said, smiling.

'Stefan told me. Why would you do it." He asks, coming closer and sitting down on the bed.

"Because I can and I wanted too." I said, going back to my book.

"That's not a very good answer." He says.

"Look, we all know why I did it. Alaric is dead and so is Jay. I felt guilty, and now. I feel nothing." I said.

"Flower, please. Just turn it back on." He says.

"I won't. Not until I'm ready." I said.

He nods his head, and looks at the ground, then back up to me.

"What about your family, and Scott?" He asks.

Of course he had to bring Scott into the conversation. "I don't know Damon. I really don't care either." I said. "He's a werewolf, I'm a vampire. It was never going to work." I said.

"He's probably worried sick about you." He says.

"Damon, leave right now. I know what you're trying to do and It's not going to work." I said, getting annoyed with him.

"Cass ple-"

"Out now." I said, cutting him off.

He looks down at the bed, then to me. He gets up and leaves me be, not before sending me one last glance.
