Cassie's POV

I leave and go to my room, for one reason or another I was expecting Klaus to be there, yet he wasn't, so I brushed off the thought.

I take my shoes off and throw them to the floor and head to my bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror. I didn't recognize who I was looking at. Everything the past few days has been a blur. Doing things, I never would have dreamed of doing. Like turning off my humanity and hooking up with Klaus.

I knew that it was wrong but every bone in my body wanted to. I felt sick though, and I couldn't explain it. Although I knew I could. I kept thinking to the night and everything I did. The feeling in my stomach was getting worse and worse. Until suddenly I felt like I had to throw up. I quickly get to the toilet and do so.

But it wasn't food that I had earlier in the day, it was blood. All of it was blood.

"What the hell." I said.

I hear my door open and someone step inside. "Cass, are you ok?" Damon asks. "I thought I heard you throw up." he says, walking towards the bathroom.

"Damon, I think something is wrong." I said. I hear the door open and Damon walks in.

"Cassie, is that blood?" he asks, walking towards me, to kneel next to me.

I couldn't answer him though because I was leaning over the toilet again, throwing up more blood, this time, it was black. He instantly grabs my hair with one hand and starts rubbing my back with the other.

"Stefan!" Damon yells, trying to get our brothers attention. I couldn't pay attention though because the pain in my stomach was just getting worse and my head was starting to feel fuzzy.

"Damon what is it?" Stefan asks, walking into the bathroom. "Cassie?" He asks, finally laying eyes on me. He was at my side in an instant.

"What the hell is going on?" Damon asks.

"I don't know. I was feeling fine until this happened." I said, now that I have stopped vomiting blood.

"Were you bit?" Stefan asks, referring to a werewolf bite.

"No, I wasn't." I said.

"How the hell are we going to know what's wrong with her then?" Stefan asks, moving some of my hair out of the way.

"Deaton might know." I said, thinking back to the vet.

"Deaton, who the hell is Deaton?" Damon asks.

"Remember when I had to meet my friends at the vet office, it's the older guy that was there." I said, and Damon shook his head indicating he knew what I meant.

"I'll bring you; I remember where it is." Damon says, going to pick me up.

"What about the funeral tomorrow?" Stefan asks.

"Damon will drop me off and I can take care of myself from there." I said, reassuring them.

"Are you sure Cassie?" Damon asks, looking down at me.

"Of course, Dee."

"Alright, go. Please keep me updated." Stefan says, getting off the ground and going to kiss my forehead.

"Of course, Stef." I said, and with that Damon was running to Beacon Hills.

Damon POV

I ran to Beacon hills and was outside of the vet clinic when I heard people inside. I recognize one of the voices though as Cassie's dad.

I look down and see that Cassie was passed out, and she must have thrown up again because there was blood on her chest and chin suggesting it. I get to the door and walk inside.

"Help, please." I yelled getting their attention from the back.

"I'm sorry sir but." Deaton says, coming to the front but stops once he sees me, "Cassie. Get her back here now." Deaton says.

He ushers me to the back, where I see everyone else. Scott was on a medical table, so I put Cassie on the one next to him. Everyone I knew was there, Cassie's family, a kid in flannel, Scott's mother next to him or I'm assuming, a red head girl.

"Cassie?" I hear, her sister says, and she looks scared. "What's wrong with her?"

"I don't know. She just started throwing up blood, it turned black at one point." I said. "I was hoping that you could tell me?" I asked, looking at Deaton.

"We don't know, but now that there together maybe that can help it." Deaton says, "I'm going to have to do some research though."

"Alright, I have to get back to Mystic Falls. Please call me." I said, looking to Chris.

"I thought she was your sister as well, why aren't you staying." Chris says, getting angry. Going over to Cassie's body and stroking her hair.

"A lot of things are going on in Mystic Hills. I have to get back." I said.

"Wait, they didn't harm Cassie, did they?" Deaton asks.

"No, he didn't even come close to Cassie." I said.

"Who?" Chris asks.

"A vampire hunter." I said, "He's good too. We don't know what he's doing in Mystic Falls, but he's dangerous. Almost killed one of us."

"So a vampire hunter is after the vampires in Mystic falls?" Chris asks. Giving everyone in the room a look.

"Basically, what's worse is that he saw Cassie. So, he knows about her and that shes associated with the only vampire he knows." I said, but everyone looked worried for her. "Don't worry she'll be fine."

"And her humanity?" Stiles asks.

"Back on." Chris answered for me.

"Oh, good she told you. I really thought she lied to me." I said, relieved she told her dad.

"Wait, Cassie turned her humanity back on? When?" Allison asked.

"2 days ago, basically a day after she turned them off." I said.

"Why did she?" her dad asks.

"Oh well uh funny story." I began and coughed.

"What the hell happened?" her dad asked, more threatening.

"Relax, alright she's fine. Or she was fine before this happened." I said, but her dad was still giving me a look. "Alright fine, some local vampire hunters kidnapped her. They took her to a barn that was blasting vervain into the air which harms and weakens vampires. The thought of never seeing her family again was killing her inside and it was enough emotion to get her to flip it back on."

"She was kidnapped?!" her dad yell, startling everyone in the room, including me.

"Yes, but she's fine. We got them out before they even had a chance to kill them." I said.

"And now another vampire hunter is after you guys, including Cassie?" Allison asked.

"Basically, but that's not even half as bad as what's happened before. Or what Cassie has even been through. She was fine." I said.

"Right." Allison said, uneasily.

"Look, I'd love to stick around but I have to get going." I said, turning to Chris. "Call me if anything happens." and with that I was leaving the clinic.
