Cassies pov
I must have fell asleep in the car, because when I woke up again I was home. Stefan shook me awake to let me know that we were home. He gets out of the car and makes his way inside looking for Elena.
I get out of the car and make my way inside, seeing Damon sitting down in front of the fire.
"Damon?" I said, making my way closer.
He looks over to me, and smiles. Getting up and walking to give me a hug.
"Hey flower. I'm so happy that you're ok." Damon says, hugging me tightly.
"Damon, I turned my humanity on again. I'm me." I said, hugging him tight.
"Oh flower, I know. Stefan called me when you guys were headed back home." He says letting go of me and walking me over to the couch to sit. We sit side by side, and I place my head on his shoulders.
"Flower, you should really call your dad." Damon says.
"I know, but I don't know if I'm ready yet." I think I just need time to grieve." I said.
"At least call him to let him know that your safe." Damon says. Trying to reason with me.
"Alright, I will. I'm going to head to bed. I'll see you in the morning." I said. Giving Damon one last hug, and a kiss on the check. "I love you Damon."
"I love you too Flower." he says, sitting on the couch again.
I head up to my room, and close the door. I go to the bathroom and look in the mirror. I was gross, I had blood everywhere and sweat stains from sitting in that cage all day. I strip from my cloths and get into the shower.
I stay in the shower awhile letting everything sink in. I get out of the shower and change into a oversized tee-shit and shorts.
I get into my room, and sit down on my bed. I pick up my phone and dial my dads number. It didn't take long for him to pick up.
"Cassie?" my dad asks, unsure about who I was.
"Hi dad." I said, "Look Damon told me. That he went to you to tell you the truth. Dad, I flipped my switch back on." I said, trying to explain that I was me again.
"Wait, so your humanity's back? You're you again?" my dad asks.
"Yes, dad. I'm me again. I'm so sorry for just leaving the way I did. Well I guess I didn't leave voluntarily. I was kidnapped." I said.
"Wait, what?" he asks.
"The night that we were going to have the party to celebrate. I was in the school parking lot when an old friend of mine appeared and ask for my help in Mystic Falls, I told him that I couldn't so he killed and took me there anyway. Then Alaric and Jay died and I flipped my switch." I said.
"Cassie, are you coming home?" He asks.
"Not yet. I think I'm going to stay here for a while. I need some time to grieve." I said, being honest with him.
"When you're ready to come home, please come. Take as much time as you need. Just make sure to contact Scott. He's having a hard time dealing with you being gone."
"I will dad. Thank you. Please keep me in the loop on everything that's happening. If you need me for anything, please don't hesitate to call me." I said.
"Of course I will Cassie. I love you so much. Remember that." My dad says.
"I love you to dad, so much." I said. With that I hang up the phone.
I laid down and stared at the ceiling. Thinking about the things that have happened lately, and everything that is to come.
I laid there, until I heard a whoosh come into my room.
I sit up from my bed, and see the one and only Klaus. Back in his own body.
What the hell does he want now.
