Cassies Pov

I wake up the next morning turning away from the window. I felt coldness from the bed. I turn around and see that Klaus was gone, yet a note where he was. I take the note in my hands and open it.

Dear Cassandra,

Sorry I had to leave. I had somethings to take care of this morning and you were still sleeping soundly, and adorably might I add. I for one didn't regret anything that we did last night and would love to see you again today. Please come by the mansion today when you can, or call. I'd be happy with as long as I hear from you again.

Sincerely

Klaus

I smile at the note and place it down at my bedside. I get out of bed and see that I am still naked from the night before. I place my hair in a bun and head to the bathroom to take a shower.

Once out of the shower I get dressed in a white cropped tank top, and a red and black plaid skirt. I grab some heeled boots and make my way downstairs.

I get downstairs and see that no one was around. So, I decided to call Damon to see where he was. I dialed his number, and he picked up instantly.

"Hey flower, what's going on?" he asks.

"I just woke up and no one's around. Where are you?" I ask.

"I'm at the Mystic Falls grill. Stefan's out bunny hunting with Elena." He says irritated at the thought of Elena and Stefan being together.

"Can I come join you?" I ask, in case he wants to be alone.

"Flower you can always come to join me. I always love when your around." He says, and I knew he was telling the truth.

"Alright I'll be there soon." I said. I hang up the phone and grab the keys to one of the cars Damon and Stefan have.

I get into the car and make my way to the Mystic Grill. I get to the restaurant and park the car. I get inside and see Damon sitting down. I go over to him and go to sit on the left side when he stopped me.

"Someone's sitting there." he says, and gives me a sad smile. I knew what he was taking about so I sat on the right side of him instead.

I ordered myself a bourbon and sat there sipping it with Damon.

"So, what's going on?" I ask.

"Nothing. Did you call your dad?" he asks, looking to me.

"Yes Damon. I called my dad. I told him that I just needed time to grieve and that I will be home as soon as I can." I said, giving Damon a smile.

Just then Lizz came up to the both of us, and goes up to Damon's left side.

"Seats taken." Damon says, staring ahead.

Yet Liz hands him a news paper. She then goes to stand in-between us.

"Faulty gas line leads to tragic explosion at Young farm." Damon reads from the headline of the newspaper. "Really?" he asks Liz.

"Better then, town council blown up. Police have no suspects." Liz says, the pauses. "Unless the perpetrator's right next to me." She says, looking at Damon.

"Well, don't look at me. I always take credit for killing people." Damon says with a smile. Then sets his glass down hard. "Seriously, stop looking at me like that Liz." Damon says, turning in his seat to look at Liz. "If I was going to kill 12 people, I wouldn't blow 'em up. I'd have a dinner party." Damon says, smiling and drinking his bourbon.
