Chapter 29: Healed and broken

I finally reach my apartment and exit my car. I take the elevator to my floor and exit, I speed to my door and unlock it as fast as possible. I run into my apartment and head straight to my room. Once I got there I got super dizzy and fell to the floor.

The lights were bright and I could hear every little thing in the world right now. The bite was starting to affect me. I have to act fast.

I went to my bed and leaned down, I grabbing my grimore and started flipping through the pages. I finally found a spell that can slow down the process. So now I should be able to have a day, maybe a day and a half if I'm lucky.

I performed the spell and was getting everything put away when there was a knock at the door. I put my grimore under my bed again and headed to open the door. When I got to the door, I opened the door and saw Damon on the other side.

"Damon." I said, and ran into his arms.

"Oh flower. It's going to be ok. I promise you we will figure this out. Nothing is going to happen to you." He says, rubbing my back to try and sooth me, I was crying at this point.

"Damon, what If I don't find my dad in time. What if I don't get to say good bye." I say, nuzzling my face into his chest.

"What are you talking about?"

"My dad, he was taken. He's going to be used in a sacrifice tonight." I said, I just remember that Damon has no idea what has been going on here in Beacon Hills.

"Flower I promise you. You are going to see you dad again. Nothing is going to happen to you. We will figure this out." He says, pulling away from the hug. He brings his hand to my face and wipes away my tears. I just noticed that he was crying as well.

We stood there for a while until I heard my phone start to ring. I pulled it out of my pocket, it was a text from Lydia.

Hey, everyone's awake. Where are you?

Me
Hey, I'm with a friend of mine. Were on are way right now.

"Alright, Damon we have to get going." I said, closing my front door and walking to the elevator

"Where are we going?"

"To meet up with my sister and friends." I say, right as the elevator gets there we step in and walk out of the apartment complex. I go to my car and start the engine. Damon was holding on to the handle next to him, he always hated when I drive.

"Why can't I drive flower?"

"Because you have no idea where were going, and I'm already in the driver's seat." I said, pulling out of the parking space and driving towards the clinic.

We sit in silence for the ride there, once we got to the clinic I was out of the car and running towards the door. Damon was still getting out of the car, but he was following me.

I run into the clinic, the bell ringing when the door opened. I looked around and saw no one was up front but I heard noise in the back. So naturally I walked towards the back and saw everyone there. Allison, Stiles, and Scott were in towels trying to warm up and get dry.

I instantly ran towards Allison and gave her the biggest hug.

"Ally I'm so happy your safe." I said.

"Of course I am Cass." She says, hugging me back. I let go of her and run towards Scott, giving him the biggest hug.

"Cassie, I've missed you so much. Are you ok?" Scott asked.

I was about to respond when I heard a ring, the front door opened.

"Who the hell is that?" Scott asked, walking towards the front.
