Hey hey, its been a while huh? A long time! I hope I haven't lost you all just yet! I'm still alive and kicking, just had to take a step back from this work to get to grips with it! Its a long time project, and I feel the end will soon be here!

I've worked hard on this, its had its highs and lows, changed to be made, I've been thinking of going through the earlier chapters and re-writing them, but thats for later!

Anyways, I don't do these kind of things, emotions. Yuck. But, here I am. I am truly so very grateful for all of you, my lovely readers. Your comments bring me such joy and it makes me so happy you read my work!

To you, the person reading this, be it now or in the future, thank you for sticking this far, I hope i've done well with this, and it remains to be seen if i screw this up or make it work out.

Thank you for your unbelievable support, and your contributions! Your comments, your votes, your views. They mean so much to me, I cannot put it into words that can be understood.

ANYWAYS! Away from  the sap and stuff, your here for the story! I hope ya enjoy it, and as usual, the song above is a cover of Deliver Us, by Caleb Hyles and Jonathan Young!

Rain poured down, a thunderous downpour that flooded the streets as winds tore through the sky; thunder crashed and lightning struck the earth.

It was as if Nature herself was weeping, mourning.

Listless drones walked through nature's tears, they had no direction but walking was better than oppressive silence and the stinging thoughts that burned in the lonely minds.

A film of despair clinged to the entire world, a drowning that no one was safe from; not a child or adult, a criminal or hero, every single person felt that bone deep despair. It chilled the spirit, dulled the hope that was burning.

All Might.

The All powerful man, he who could save anyone, the man who always smiled in the face of danger. Who laughed in the face of death, and whispered the bold promise of him being here.

He was here...

No more.

It was a loss that shook the world, the already fractured world shattered more. The Mighty Pillar of justice, reduced to a memory in the minds of those who needed him most. Those who needed his strength and peace the most.

But none took it worse than Izuku Midoriya.

Say what you will about the veridian haired boy, but if anyone who knew him saw the bright emerald eyes, once so hopeful and full of joy, right now? They would say that the boy was broken.

Dull, and stony; a far cry to their bright sheen.
