Slow, repetitive beats filtered through the room, steadfast and strong.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Crimson eyes flickered open, hopping about the room in fear, she had no idea where she was, the last thing she remembered was the kind green giant helping her then, nothing...

More beeps sounded, her heart pounding out of her chest as the door opened, revealing a person, but Eri couldn't hear them, she could focus, all her thoughts spiralling;

'Did Overhaul take me? Did he make the giant and Lemillion disappear?'

Two firm, gentle hand are placed upon her shoulders, dragging her out of her mind and back into the real world were a scruffy looking man looked at her, his eyes glowing red and hair standing on end. A surprisingly soft voice comes from the raven-haired man;

"Eri. Eri. Breathe with me. In... and out... Again... In... and out..." His calm demeanour made Eri calm down and breathe deeply. She shakily looked at the man in scared curiosity, and the man tells her.

"Eri, it's nice to finally meet you. I am Shouta Aizawa, I'm here to make sure the bed men don't get you again." Eri tilts her head like a lost kitten and shyly asks;

"Mr. Zawa can stop bad man?" Shouta internally cursed at the Yakuza; they clearly didn't give her much in the way of education. Externally, he nods;

"I can stop bad man from getting you." Her crimson eyes flash, and she asks quietly.

"Did the Green Giant and Magic Man get away from bad man? Have they disappeared?" Shouta reels back, thinking for a minute then answers the girl.

"Yes, Green Giant ... and Magic Man are okay. They can visit some time if you want?" Inside his head, Shouta cackles at his son's nickname. Green Giant. He's not letting go of that one for a good while...

Excitedly, the girl nods and Shouta smiles as he watches the girl come out of her shell. He knew it would take a while for her to feel okay again, and she'll be forever haunted by her past, but with help and support he knew that Eri would be happy again. He twitches, the sudden urge to sign an adoption form tingles into his hand and he inaudibly sighs, it was the exact same feeling he had for adopting Izuku, and it wouldn't go until he adopts Eri as his daughter...

'I'm losing my edge...'

Clearing his throat, Shouta speaks up;

"I'll go and call the Green Giant then, I'm sure he'll come down and seen you." Taking out his phone, Shouta brings up his contacts and calls Izuku, only to get sent to voice mail, completely ignored. Now Shouta was worried, he knew Izuku would never miss a call, unless it was an unknown number, so why has he done so now; Dialling Hizashi, the loud blonde picks up;
