Chapter 5 Battle

Y/N POV:

Shao Kahn gathered all the Kombatants. Shao Kahn explain that I must prove my worth and trust towards the emperor. I agreed and I was in the colosseum, and I was waiting to be called. I heard the door open, and I saw Mileena.

Mileena: You, okay?

"I'm fine. Just nervous."

Mileena: If you're anything like your parents you'll make it through this.

"I know... I just wish my parents were here."

Mileena: What happened to them?

"...You already know they served Shao Kahn but while merging Outworld with Edenia they got separated and eventually made it to Earthrealm where my mother had a vison of Outworld invading. They eventually had me and told me my future and I accepted it, and they trained me ever since. A year before the invasion my parents died, and I do not know how. I was alone and when it happened, I fulfilled my promise and helped."

Mileena: My father respects you. You can do anything.

Mileena grabs a hold of my hand, and I can see a slight blush on her face, and I heard,

Man: We're ready for you.

I let go of Mileena's hand and I went to prove my worth and trust towards Shao Kahn. I walked out and heard the crowd cheering and I saw three humans Kombatants. As long as everyone who is participating in the tournament but did not see Raiden, Johnny, Sonya, Jax, or BF/N.

Shao Kahn: Y/N L/N for a long time your parents have served me and were my most trustworthy allies. We will see if you are capable like your parents.

I ready my red sword and I look at Mileena and Shao Kahn. She nodded and I looked back at the three humans Kombatants.

Shao Kahn: Fight!

One of them came at me and swung their sword but I blocked it. I hit his shield and I saw the second kombatant coming at me and I ran and stabbed him in his stomach, and I threw him on the ground. I then decapitated his head. I then went back to the first person, and he tried to attack me once more, but I dodged it. I swept his leg and he fell on the ground. I then stabbed him in the face without hesitation. I saw the third person swing his axe down, but I moved out of the way, and I then stabbed him in the chest, and I stabbed him in his arm making him drop his axe. I then threw him on the ground and just like I did with the second person I decapitated his head. The people in the seats started to cheer and I had blood all over me and my eyes started to glow white. I look up at Shao Kahn and Mileena and I see Mileena smiling under her mask. I then heard the gates open and I saw one more person I must face. He sees the carnage and is initially shocked, but yet charges at me anyway. I swirl my staff and engage without hesitation. I go to attack him, but he grabs me and throws me. I quickly recovered and I avoided his attacks. He swung his axe, but it got stuck and I was able to chop off the man's arm and I kicked him to the ground. I point my staff at his neck, and I look at Shao Kahn and he nods. I then stab him in his heart killing him without hesitation. The crowd started to cheer, and I joined Shao Kahn and Mileena.

Mileena: You did good.

I thanked her and I then saw a person in a blue ninja outfit who I know as Sub-Zero.

Sub-Zero: Shao Kahn! I challenge Scorpion, the murderer of my brother! You will bring him before me!

Shang Tsung: No one makes demands of the emperor! Reptile!

Reptile came down and fought Sub-Zero and I watched as Sub-Zero bested Reptile.

Sub-Zero: I would kill you, but that is not my purpose here.

Sub-Zero walks towards Shao Kahn and I was getting ready to fight him when Shao Kahn gestured me to stand down.

Sub-Zero: Your followers hold you in high esteem, warlord. They fight and die for your amusement. My brother participated in this folly. I do so only to face his killer.

Shao Kahn: And you shall.

A flame comes up and I see a yellow ninja known as Scorpion and he looks at Sub-Zero.

Scorpion: What is this? You are not Sub-Zero!

Sub-Zero: I am his family and clan. I fight for his honor.

Scorpion: He had no honor! And you will die as he did!

Sub-Zero fought with Scorpion and they were equally matched until Sub-Zero got the upper hand and was available to beat him.

Sub-Zero: For my brother!

Sub-Zero was about to finish him when five grey robots appeared and started to teleport Sub-Zero.

Sub-Zero: No! You-

We then saw two robots. One red and one yellow.

"Now what!?"

Shang Tsung: Who now interrupts the emperor's tournament?

Sektor: This man Sub-Zero betrayed the clan and violated his oath. We request that we may return him to our temple for judgement.

Shao Kahn: And what do I gain for granting this bold request?

Cyrax: The Lin Kuei's loyalty and service.

"I think you should accept. We could use the help from the Lin Kuei."

Shao Kahn: ...Very well. he's yours.

Meanwhile...

BF/N POV:

We got to the colosseum and saw Sub-Zero getting teleported.

Smoke: Sub-Zero!? No!

Raiden: You cannot save him! Stay here or they will take you as well.

"I hate to admit it, but he is right. It's too dangerous."

Raiden: The flow of time has changed. I spare Smoke this fate, only to watch this new Sub-Zero fall.

Sub-Zero: No! I will not be turned!

The robots disappear along with Sub-Zero...........
