Chapter 30 Under Attack

BF/N POV:

We were giving everyone who was from the past upgrades. Their future selves told their past selves the future and they were shocked to know that they'd all die. We all were working when all the screens in the command center turn red and an alarm begins to ring.

"We're under attack."

Cassie: Go to Condition Red!

Ermac, Ferra/Torr, Reptile, Erron Black, Jacqui, Kung Jin, Takeda, Cassidy, both Johnny's and me all ran to cover the side hanger. We all got ready and saw a huge explosion rip through the side of the hanger. We look and see a young Erron Black leading the Black Dragon. We then see both past and present Kano's with three lines of cyber-Lin Kuei behind is Sektor. Ferra/Torr lets out a scream and the cyber-Lin Kuei, the Black Dragon all start to rush us. Both Johnny's, Cassidy, Jacqui, Kung Jin all fire at the cyber-Lin Kuei while the rest of us fight the Black Dragon. Erron black is fighting his past self while I fight Sektor. Sektor grabs me and throws me through some metal boxes and walks towards me.

Sektor: Just like at the temple.

I got up but Sektor was then blasted by a beam, and I saw past Y/N, past Mileena take on Sektor. I then see present my younger self, Kabal, Stryker, Liu Kang, Katana, Kung Lao, Smoke, Nightwolf and Sindel all taking on the Black Dragon, and cyber–Lin Kuei. I got up and aided my younger self in fighting the cyber–Lin Kuei. Y/N and Mileena beat Sektor as the rest of us started destroying the Black Dragon and Cyber Lin Kuei. The two Sonya's fought the two Kano's. We watched as the Erron blacks fought each other until the present Erron Black knocked out his past self. We turned around and I saw past Kano holding past Johnny at knife point.

Kano: Now this is a pickle. Can ya break his neck faster than I can gut Pretty Boy? Don't forget, it's two-for-one. He dies, so does your little girl!

Past Sonya: Thanks Kano.

Kano: For what?

Sonya: For reminding us of the rules.

Without hesitation, past Sonya pulls out her pistol from its holster and shoots Young Kano through his remaining eye, blowing a bloodied hole clear through his head. Immediately following this, present Kano drops Johnny from his grasp and walks off to the side, gasping in pain. He turns back toward Sonya... and shows the same gaping wound in his face that his younger self now sports. Young Kano remains face up in the ground, dead as a doornail. Present Kano gasps one last time and is suddenly engulfed in a timestorm of sand. Much like Dark Raiden before him, Old Kano dissolves into dust and is removed from existence, with nothing but a cloud of sand to denote the occasion...
