I have only been in Outworld for a few days, and it has changed so much. I was making my way to the kingdom when I saw warriors marching through the streets along with the Outworld equivalent of oxen dragging a large carriage. Leading the march are the wandering mercenary Erron Black and the living amalgamation of souls known only as Ermac. The carriage stopped and I saw a bug lady.
???: Make way for Kotal Kahn! Move!
"Kotal Kahn? What happened to Mileena?"
3rd POV:
Mileena and Rain are on the rooftop accompanied by the treacherous Edenian Tanya and several Tarkatans. She sees a person that look familiar before she could think more about its Tanya snapped her out of her thoughts,
Tanya: The Tarkatans are in position. We await your order.
Mileena: What? Oh uh... it is given.
Tanya: You seem off. It's Y/N, isn't it?
Mileena: Now's not the time Tanya.
Tanya sneaks off with several Tarkatans in tow.
Rain: Stopping a carriage is nothing. Killing an emperor--
Mileena: FALSE emperor!
Rain: --requires power. Power, you have, Mileena. And won't use.
Mileena begrudgingly pulls out what Rain is referring to - Shinnok's Amulet.
Mileena: It pains me to use it, Rain. I need more time. The usurper's excursion came too soon.
Rain: The rain falls when it may.
Mileena: No matter - if Kano does what I paid him to do.
Y/N POV:
Ermac is telekinetically moving the crates, while Kotal's soldiers still struggle with the carts themselves.
D'vorah: Now! Do it!
More soldiers walk over to help. I decided to confront the bug lady about Kotal Kahn.
"Excuse me?"
???: Who are you?
"I'm Y/N and what do you mean Kotal Kahn?"
???: Y/N? That name sounds familiar... Not important. Kotal Kahn is the ruler of Outworld.
"What happened to Mileena!?"
???: Why? Does it concern you?
"It does I was her right-hand man before I was killed."
???: Wait-
Before she could finish, we heard shouting, and we look and saw an entire army of Tarkatan warriors madly rushing down a back alley directly at Kotal Kahn's forces. At the same time, more Tarkatans rush in from an alley on the opposite side of the carriage, forcing the soldiers to divide up to fight them off. Me, Ermac, and Erron, and the bug lady were killing the Tarkatans and we see Shao Kahn's general Kotal Kahn get attacked by Kano. While on the ground, Kotal punches Kano repeatedly, but Kano catches his hand and throws Kotal aside. They both roll to their feet in fighting stances.
Kotal: You wound me, Kano. Your offer of aid was but wind and air?!
Kano: Keep yer fifty million. Mileena's giving me twice that to take you out!
I went over to the duo but was blocked by Tarkatans. I fought them off trying to make my way to Kotal. Kotal and Kano fought. While Kano's fighting strength and cybernetic enhancements have only grown in the years he's lived, Kotal Kahn's life experiences far outshine his. The Outworld emperor lives up to his title by beating Kano to the ground.
