Ashley

I lock up the bar at closing time and she walks me to my car.

I assure her that I'll be fine but, she wanted to make sure that guy from earlier wasn't waiting out back for me.

When we get to the parking lot there are only 2 vehicles left.

My gray Elantra and a Matte black stretched out Kawasaki.

"Wow. Is that your bike?"

She smiles proudly and throws her leg over the seat to mount it.

"My pride and joy. Wanna ride?"

I hesitate for a second as I nervously bite my lower lip.

Even though we've been talking for hours and she saved me back there, she's still a complete stranger.

It would be a bad idea to go with her, I know that.

But it's a motorcycle.

And she's hot.

All night I've been watching the way she talks and gauging whether or not the stunt she pulled earlier was just for show.

She seems like a genuine person and honestly, I feel safe with her.

There is an air of warmth around her that seems to draw me in with every word that glides past her lips.

Even though it sounds like the beginning of a law and order episode, I think I can trust her.

"Only because you're kinda cute."

A huge smile spreads across her face before she helps me onto the bike and hands me her helmet that was previously sitting on her lap.

I raise an eyebrow in question because I don't see another helmet on the bike.

She smiles back at me.

"Your safety is my biggest priority. I'll be fine."

I blush behind the tinted visor and nod my head.

I give her directions to my place and soon, were tearing down the road like a bat out of hell.

My arms are wrapped tightly around her waist as we effortlessly glide through the streets.

I press my head against her back as the butterflies in my stomach begin to dance.

We are so close.

Our bodies are pressed together so tightly, I can faintly differentiate the beating of her heart from the roar of the bike.

Its hard and fast.

Is she as nervous as I am?

When we finally arrive at my house, she parks the bike and helps me off of it before walking me up to my door.

"So how was the ride? I didn't scare you too bad did i?"

I roll my eyes and laugh.

"I'm not a scaredy cat. It was actually pretty fun."

She smiles at me as she leans her left shoulder against the front door frame.

"I'm glad.If you ever want to ride again, just let me know."

She reaches into her pocket and hands me her phone to put my number in.

I scoff playfully at her before taking the device from her hand.

"Smooth."

She smiles as I put my information into her phone and I notice her shifting a little.

She's definitely nervous.
