We get in Sam's car and head downtown so that we can meet up with Taylor and do a little shopping before heading up the mountain.

It's Saturday so the farmers market is going in full swing when we arrive. There are food vendors, produce booths, artists, and even a few street performers around.

As we're looking at a few plants that someone has on display,I get scooped up from behind and spun around. "There you are! I've been looking all over for you."

I giggle before turning around and giving her a kiss when she puts me down. "Well, you found me! Let me introduce you."

I grab her hand and pull her over to Sam and Paige who are looking at some paintings and Sam immediately sizes her up when we get over there.

"Sam, Paige, this is Taylor. Taylor, this is Sam, my best friend that Ive been telling you about, and this is Paige her-"

Paige grabs onto Sam's arm and cuts me off. "Girlfriend! I'm her girlfriend."

I raise an eyebrow and Sam's eyes widen a little giving her a look. "Uhh yeah. Nice to meet you." Sam says extending her hand out to Taylor.

I watch as Taylor forces a smile and shakes her hand rather sternly. I look up at her confused because I can feel the tension in the air between them. I thought the vibes between me and Paige were bad but these two are like two alphas sizing each other up.

Sam is my best friend and a very important person to me but Taylor is as well. I love them both and I want them to get along, however right now, they might end up pushing each other off the mountain.

I guess Paige can feel it too because she abruptly wraps her arms around sams neck from the side and kisses her cheek. "Hey why don't we go look around a little more and then go hit the slopes? You can show me some new tricks when we get up there."

Sam smiles at her and kisses her forehead. "Okay doll, whatever you want."

Paige smiles and kisses her lips making me want to gag but I hold it in.

I smile when I feel Taylor's arms wrap around me from behind. "Cmon, let's go explore."

I nod and we all walk around enjoying the scenery and just enjoying the time we get with our favorite people.

When we finally make our way up the mountain,it starts off as a fun couple thing.

Sam and Paige ski together and Taylor teaches me how to snowboard since I usually only ski but I wanted to try something new.

I look back and see Sam do a flip off of a ramp and cheer for her when she lands it perfectly. "Nice job babe!"

Taylor raises an eyebrow at me and I blush. "Babe huh?"

I roll my eyes and kiss her cheek. "Relax, we call each other pet names all the time but if you want me to stop I will."

She shakes her head and kisses my lips. "No it's okay. Like I said, I trust you."

I smile at her and shake my head as she stands up tightening her boots. "However, now I must go and prove that I'm the best by doing something better than that lame ass flip she just did."

"Be careful!"

She assures me she will and for the next hour, her and Sam go back and forth doing tricks to try and outdo the other.

I sigh as i look past the snowman Ive been working on to see that they're still going at it.

Honestly, how are they not tired yet?

"They're still going huh?" I turn around surprised to see Paige actually talking to me.

"Yep, acting like a couple of teenagers." She shakes her head and starts helping me with the snowman.

I glance over at her and notice the slight smile on her face.

It's been lingering there all day and grows every time her eyes land in Sam.

She looks over and giggles when she sees Sam  trip and fall into the snow.

Taylor laughs at her as well and a snowball fight begins causing us both to laugh at how childish they are.

"Kids these days." She says.

I nod in agreement. "So, girlfriend huh?"

Her eyes widen and a blush spreads on her face. "Oh! Umm...I kind of panicked back there. I guess we're still technically just friends because we never officially said we were together but...I don't know."

I smile a little and place a hand on her shoulder. "Hey don't worry. I know that goofball over there feels exactly the same way you do. You guys just need to talk things out is all."

She nods helping me out the finishing touches on the snowman. "You really do know a lot about her huh?"

I smile and nod. "She's the closest person I have in my life right now, other than Taylor of course. She's seen me at my best and my worst and I've seen her the same way. I know it probably bothers you that we had a thing but, it honestly was nothing. It's actually kind of embarrassing when I think about it now."

I chuckle at the thought as my mind wanders. "She's my person and all I want is for her to be happy. These past couple months I've seen her smile more than I have the entire time I've known her so that's gotta mean something."

She blushes, playing with her hair. "I'm glad. To be honest, I didn't like you before. I didn't like how close you two were or the fact that you were always around her and even got to see a side of her I never did. Yes we were close but she was always my protector. It was a one way street. She was always there for me but I never knew about what she was going through. I don't think I ever even asked. I just assumed, "oh it's Sam, she's fine." When she was probably going through so much. I see now why she leans on you so much. You two have that type of bond and I don't want to get in the way of it."

I raise an eyebrow as she takes a deep breath before extending her hand to me.

"Truce? I want a fresh start. You're a really good person and I was just being a jealous bitch. I'm surprised you didn't try to fight me."

I laugh and shake her hand. "It's all good. Plus, now that we're cool, I finally have someone to talk about girl stuff with! Sam just thinks it's boring."

She laughs and after seeing those two heading back up to the lift, we decide to go do some shopping.
