Ashley
It's a slow day at Andy's as I wipe down some glasses to help pass the time.
Monday nights are never really eventful.
We normally have a jazz band or some local musician playing and the only people that really come in are those that need a drink after work in order to make it to the next day.
As I start wiping down the counter I hear the front door open prompting me to look up.
I raise an eyebrow as a tall Asian woman walks in, smiling at one of the bouncers.
Those guys really seem to know everyone.
She's wearing black ripped skinny jeans, vans,a black t shirt, and a flannel tied around her waist. Her long black hair is up in a bun and her arms are covered in tattoos.
Even from this distance I can already tell, she's pretty hot.
I must have been staring because she glances over and smiles at me before making her way over.
I try my best to keep cool but my heart beats faster with every step she takes.
"Hi, I'm Taylor. What's your name?"
I smile at her the same way I would any customer as she sits across from me.
"I'm Ashley, it's nice to meet you. Do you have a specific drink you'd like me to get going for you?"
She smiles at me before answering.
"An old fashion please."
I give her a look and she laughs as I start to make it.
"Something wrong with that?" I shake my head trying not to smile too much.
"No not at all, you just don't seem like the old fashion type is all."
She raises an eye at me and leans on the counter.
"Oh really? And what type do I seem like?"
A blush threatens to form as I think about the fact that she's actually my type.
I slide her drink to her and look her over trying my best to not seem like I'm checking her out but she can clearly tell I am.
"You seem like the party type. I was expecting you to ask for a beer or some shots."
She laughs and takes a sip of her drink.
"Ah no. I'm not into being all flashy anymore. I'm pretty old fashioned myself."
I tilt my head as I start organizing the glasses.
"Oh?"
She nods watching me move across the bar.
"Oh yes. I'd love to take you out sometime and show you if you'd allow me. Maybe dinner and a movie?"
I smile at her as I make a refill for a customer a few seats down.
"You move fast."
She blushes a little scratching the back of her neck.
"My apologies, I am being a bit forward aren't I?"
I giggle as I hear another customer calling me.
"It sounds interesting, but I'm going to have to pass. Thanks for the offer though."
I leave her the tab and head over to the other customers.
Throughout the night, I catch her stealing glances at me.
