Kapittel (4) Fire ~ Tour de Jarvis

Alex's POV ~

"Lady Alex, I am off to find the others. I had not been able to give them a greeting upon my arrival." Thor said as he walked out of the room.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that. I guess I did pull you away from everyone." I nervously chuckled.

"It is no problem, my lady. I shall leave my brother in your capable hands." Thor nodded, walking to the elevator a few feet away.

I quickly took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for my incoming interaction with the God of Mischief.

"So, Loki. You ready to be out of the cell?" I asked as I walked back into the room, noticing he was still standing in it.

"I suppose it would not be the worst thing to get out of this ridiculous cage." He eyed me.

"Great! So, I was thinking of starting us out by having a tour of the tower. I'm new here too, but I'm sure Jarvis could lead us around all the important spots." I shrugged, walking back towards the door before realizing I wasn't being followed.

"You coming?" I asked, looking back to see Loki looking around as if the minute he stepped out of his cell, he would be immediately dragged back to the one back in Asgard.

"Come on. Nothing's going to happen as long as you listen to the rules. And just so you know, I'm not as much of a hard-ass as Fury and the others are." I joked.

Loki slowly stepped out of his cell as if he hadn't heard me, and casually walked over to where I was by the door.

"Everyone should still be in the main living area, so we can stay clear of that for now. If want we can go explore it later when everyone has left." I told him, walking to the elevator. "Now, Jarvis, do you think you could show us around?"

"Of course, Agent Kara." Jarvis started, making the elevator doors a screen as it pulled up a map of the tower. "The Avengers Tower starts on the first floor, where the lobby area for the public is along with the private access area for the Avengers and Tony's garage workshop. Right below the floor being the Arc Reactor that runs the entire building."

"Well, that's dumb. I hope security for it is at least good because too many people could just... pop in there." I said, thinking of what would happen if I teleported down there.

"Floors 2-55 all contain Stark Industries' business functioning. This is where Mr. Stark's partner, Miss Avery Lynn, spends most of her time when not with the rest of the team or Mr. Stark himself.

Floors 56-60 are the testing spaces for various new Stark designs. This is where Miss Olivia Stark, Mr. Starks aunt, can be found when she visits and is not with the team. Floors 61-65 contain several biological laboratories. I recommend not going in there without some sort of protection, as a good portion of what get's made in there gets "accidentally" blown up."

"How does that even happen?" I mumbled, glancing at Loki who was staring at the elevator doors, his facial expression bored, though you could see the bit of wonder behind his eyes watching the virtual tour.

"No one truly knows. Now, on floors, 66-69 are the business and philanthropic research areas. No one truly knows what happens here. Floors 70-74 are classified sections of R&D, usually dealing with SHIELD or other government agencies. While you are allowed here, Agent Kara as you are a part of SHIELD, you, Mr. Odinson, are not."

I snorted a laugh as Loki rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Floor 75 is reserved for Dr. Banner's lab and is the most secure floor in the tower. Dr. Banner, Mr. Stark, and Miss Stark have unlimited access to it, and Dr. Banner has been given the authority to allow or deny access on a case-by-case basis."
