1998 - Brisighella, Emilia-Romagna
"Mein lieber Vixon. Wie geht es dir heute Abend?" (My dear Vixon. How are you doing this evening?)
I didn't say anything, knowing what would happen if I spoke in the Commander's presence.
"Ich muss sagen, Ihre letzte Mission mit dem Soldaten war ein großer Erfolg. Vielleicht kannst du sogar bald ein Solo haben." (I must say, your last mission with the soldier was of great success. You may even be able to have a solo one soon.)
The Commander slowly made his way over to me, rubbing the back of his index finger over my cheek, making me shiver.
"Ich muss sagen, ich weiß nicht, wie sehr ich dein hübsches Gesicht von einem Kampf zerzaust sehen würde. Obwohl du das schnell für mich reparieren könntest, könntest du nicht schön sein?" (I must say, I don't know how much I would like to see your pretty face messed up from a fight. Though you could quickly fix that for me, couldn't you beautiful?)
"Was auch immer Sie brauchen, Kommandant." (Whatever you need, Commander.) I robotically said my reply, my eyes refusing to leave their spot on the wall.
I had been sitting in this chair for what felt like hours, cold and alone. They had left me in my tank top and underwear once I was out of my solder uniform from my last mission a few days ago, throwing me into the dark room and putting a shock collar on for if I used my powers when I wasn't supposed to. The only thing in it was the chair, what I assumed to be a two-way mirror right across from it.
"Richtig, mein kleiner Fuchs. Würde es hassen, wenn dein hübscher Kopf wieder zu Brei wird, weil du aufgehört hast, Befehle zu befolgen." (That's right, my little fox. Would hate for your pretty head to go back to mush because you stopped following orders.)
"Ja Kommandant." (Yes, commander.)
"Steh jetzt auf. Es ist Zeit für Sie, eine weitere Aufklärungsmission durchzuführen. Sie werden dort abgesetzt, wo der Soldat ist, und Sie werden ihm helfen, die Mission zu beenden." (Now stand up. It is time for you to do another reconnaissance mission. You will be dropped off to where the soldier is, and you will help him finish the mission.)
The Commander roughly grabbed my arm, forcing me to stand as he dragged me to the door. He took me back to the equipment room where all my stuff is. The normally assigned guard opened the door for us, the commander telling him what I needed so the soldier could get me ready.
The soldier helped me get into my uniform, getting all the hard-to-reach straps and placing my weapons in their appropriate places. This soldier was always one of my favorites because he was never too handsy when helping me get dressed.
Before long, I was ready and in one of Hydra's helicopters, on my way to some small town in Italy. Once we landed, I was quickly moved into a black vehicle, a bag being thrown over my head so I didn't know the exact location of where we were or where we were going.
After a while, I felt the car come to a stop, the shock collar being unlocked and taken off my neck and the bag getting ripped from my head as I was pushed out of the car.
"Der Soldat wird Sie ein paar Blocks weiter treffen. Einfach weitergehen. Wenn er dich sieht, wird er dich holen kommen. Lass uns nicht im Stich, Vixion. Heil Hydra." (The soldier will meet you a few blocks over. Just keep walking. When he sees you he will come to retrieve you. Do not fail us, Vixion. Hail Hydra.)
