I went to the Bifrost, teleporting over once I saw it turn on again. When I got inside, I had to duck at the last second as what seemed like the back of a police car flew by my head.

"Heimdall, what's going on?" I walked over to the man, watching as Thor and a Midgardian woman emerged from the Bifrost.

"We have to do that again." The Brunett smiled, turning around to look at the dome.

"Hi." She said as she saw us.

"Welcome to Asgard." Heimdall greeted her.

"Thor, what's going on? Why did you bring a Midgardian here your father will just send her back." I asked, my eyebrows drawn in confusion.

"Lady Alex, this is Jane Foster. Jane, my good friend, Alex." Thor nodded between us.

"You brought your girlfriend?! Thor, you know what Odin thinks about her." I sadly said, a sinking feeling in my chest making me think it was something Odin once thought of me long ago.

"Jane is in danger. I need the palace healers to help me."

"What's wrong with her?" I looked the woman up and down, making her squirm uncomfortably for a moment.

"I am not sure. That's why I brought her here."

"Alright. Hang on. It's not as fun as the Bifrost for the first time." I sighed, going over to hold both of their arms.

"Wait, what's happening-" Jane was cut off as I teleported us all to the healing wing, startling several healers.

"Lady Alex, you know our policy of teleporting into the wing." Eir, the head healer, reprimanded me.

"And Eir, you know I have no idea what you're talking about," I said, using the same tone as she did and making her roll her eyes.

"I thought you were getting somewhere with that."

"Not anymore," I grumbled, looking towards a confused Jane and amused Thor. "We do need your help, though. Thor says something happened to Jane here."

"Come, bring her to the Soul Forge." She sighed, leading us into a connected room.

Thor and I stood off to the side as we watched Jane lay down on the table, the soul forge turning on soon after.

"What's that?" Jane asked, moving her arm up to point as Eir worked with the forge.

"Be still." She told her, making an almost copy of Jane's body and lifting it above, a red light spreading throughout Jane's hologram body.

"This is not of Earth. What is it?" Thor asked the healer beside us.

"We do not know. But she will not survive the amount of energy surging within her." The healer looked down at Thor's stare, turning and moving away from the prince.

"That's a quantum field generator, isn't it?" Jane asked.

"It's a soul forge."

"Does a soul forge transfer molecular energy from one place to another?"

"Yes." Eir looked down at Jane with a nod, surprised.

"Quantum field generator." Jane turned her head, whispering to Thor and me and making me chuckle and Thor smile.

"My words are mere noises to you that you ignore them completely?" I flinched at Odin's voice, moving to try and hide behind Thor with the hope of being able to teleport away unseen.

"Lady Alex there is no point in hiding, I know you are there."

"Shit," I mumbled, moving back to where I was standing.

"She is ill." Thor tried to reason with his father.
