"Would it really be so terrible to stay here?" Loki asked for the dozenth time.

"Loki, we have to go back and help our people."

"Since when were they your people? I thought the Midgardians were your people." Loki questioned as he slowly paced the room.

"They became my people when I married an Asgardian. Twice, may I add."

"Yes, but we have come so far here in Sakaar! Just imagine what we could do here, the possibilities!" Loki came up, placing his hands on either side of where I sat on our elevated bed.

"Love, I feel as though I need to remind you of something you seemed to have forgotten. Something that will make you no longer want to stay on this planet."

"And what would that be?" He raised a questioning brow.

"Your mother is still on Asgard. And if we do not go to help I'm afraid Hela will... get her out of the picture, so she can take the crown."

Loki's face fell, his pale cheeks seeming to somehow drain of any color left.

"We have to get back to Asgard."

I rolled my eyes as Loki went back to his, this time more frantic, pacing.

"I know that. I have been telling you that since we arrived in Sakaar. What I still don't fully know is how we shall do it. Thor managed to find the Quinjet from Hulk. Maybe we can use it to bring us to Asgard?"

"I don't trust that mortal-made machine." He quickly shook his head.

"Olivia Stark made it. Given her life history, I wouldn't exactly call her mortal." I said, making Loki roll his eyes.

"Um, excuse me, Ma'am, Sr." Both of our heads shot to the blue girl that was standing in our doorway. "I apologize for interrupting, but the Grandmaster has requested both of your presence. It is about the escape of the Lord of Thunder and the masters champion."

"Oh gods," I groaned. "Loki, help me up, please." I held my hand up, waiting for my husband to come and help me to my feet.

The two of us then followed the girl to wherever the Grandmaster was, which was a red and white room that was relatively empty, minus the dozens of guards surrounding us.

"I'm very upset." The man lowered himself on the hover platform he stood on once Loki and I stood beside Val. "You know what I like about being upset? The blame. And right now, that's the mindset that I'm in. And you know who I'm blaming?"

"Grandmaster, I can-"

"Hey! Hey! Don't interrupt me! I-"

"Here you go." Topaz handed over the melting stick, making Loki and Val take a protective step in front of me.

"Why are you handing me the melt stick? He was interrupting. That's not a capital violation. Now, where was I?" Loki gave Val a strange look as they both eased away from me. "My precious champion has come up missing, and it's all because of that Lord of Thunder. It's all because of him. Your brother. Or whatever the story is. Adopted, or complicated. Or you know, I'm sure there's a big history. And your contender."

"My dear friend." Loki tried. "If you were to give me 12 hours, I could bring them both back to you. Alive."

"I could do it in two," Val argued, making me stare at her wide-eyed.

"I could do it in one."

"Will you two stop it with your pissing contest? This is not the time." I hissed.
