"Hey! Where's psycho god? Aren't you supposed to be watching him?" Tony asked as I re-entered the main living room. All of the Avengers were sitting around the different couches and chairs. Bruce sat with a book in his hands, somehow still being able to talk to Thor beside him, Captain Rogers looked like he was sketching something, both Starks talked to each other while on their phones, and Natasha and Clint watched whatever was on the t.v.
"You know I have eyes in the back of my head. Loki can't even leave his room without me knowing. He doesn't need to know that, though. Trying to gain some level of trust between the two of us." I shrugged, sitting next to the other redhead on the couch.
"As long as he doesn't escape," Clint said, moving to sit on the other side of me. "Now, catch us up on how things were while you were gone. Fury never let us talk!"
"Where were you all this time?" Steve chimed in, eyes leaving his sketch pad.
"I was traveling around Europe for two years on a mission for Shield. I can't say much about it though, so I wouldn't bother asking." I smirked at the man.
"Can't talk about it, or won't?" Clint asked."Both," I smiled.
"Hey, I had a question for you three." Tony looked between Nat, Clint, and Bruce. "You've all seemed to know Alex for a long time now. How's it Rogers and I've never heard of her 'till now? I understand how Oliv might know of her, but you three have actually met Flame over there."
"Flame?" I questioned.
"Yeah, 'cause your hair is flaming red." Tony said in a "duh" tone. "It would be Red, but Natasha here already claimed that."
"You've read some of SHIELD's old case files, right?" Natasha asked both men, who nodded. "Did you ever get to an Agent dubbed the Cheshire Cat?"
"Like from the book? Yeah, I've read about them." Steve nodded, looking towards Tony who narrowed his eyes at me.
"Suprise." I lightly sang, lifting my chin up a bit while shrugging my shoulders.
"That was you?" Steve gawked as Stark looked deep in thought. "Why do they call you the Cheshire Cat?"
"Because my abilities are those similar to the character, strangely enough. Some from birth that I taught myself and some that were from experimentation."
"Try and show them some of your other powers, Lex." Clint nudged my shoulder.
"Yeah, give us a show," Tony said, making me freeze up for a second.
"Um, yeah, sure," I mumbled, standing up. "So, we've established that I can shapeshift, make clones and have telepathy, right?" I asked the group.
"When did you show the telepathy part?" Steve asked me.
"Well, I had to read your mind to know all that stuff about you and Agent Carter, didn't I?" I asked back, making Steve blush a bit. "Don't worry, I didn't see too much." I waved off.
"So what else can you do, witch?" Tony slumped down in his seat.
"Well, I can turn invisible," I said, taking a moment to concentrate and make my hand disappear.
"What the... Aaah!!" The male Stark screamed when I disappeared and popped back up in front of him. "I can teleport," I said, walking back over to sit beside Clint. "And I can become intangible."
"What does that mean?" Rogers asked.
"It means I can do this," I said, taking a deep breath in and becoming intangible, going straight through both the couch and the floor, thankfully teleporting myself back up once I was fully through.
