"Thor! Loki! I'm back!" I yelled out, grabbing my bags from where I threw them by the elevator. I quickly took them to my room, bringing them to my walk-in closet to deal with later.

"Guys?!" I walked out of my room, confused as I hadn't even heard so much as a hello from Thor yet. "Where are they?"

I walked into the living room, my pace getting faster as I heard muffled shouting. When I turned the corner, I was met face to face with a tied-up Thor, hanging upside down from some rope connected to the ceiling, duct tape covering his mouth.

"Oh, hello, Lady Alex. I didn't hear you come in."

I looked over to Loki's couch, seeing the god himself with his feet up, a book in his hands.

"What the hell happened?!" I yelled, rushing over to the nearest couch and grabbing a knife I had stashed under it. I walked up to Thor, quickly pulling the tape off his mouth and getting to work on cutting the binds.

"Thank you, Lady Alex! Loki here has had me tied up for over an hour." Thor growled, staring daggers at his brother.

"I told you you would regret it if you kept bothering me." Loki calmly said, flipping the page of his book.

"Loki, go to your room." I rolled my eyes.

"Excuse me?" He blanked, eyes wide as he stared up at me.

"You heard me. Room. Now." I glared back. Loki seemed to understand the non-verbal threat, cause he quickly hopped off the couch and sped to his room.

"Now what did you do?" I asked the God of Thunder, finally getting his arms free. Thor dangled them above his head, getting prepared to catch himself whenever I freed his torso and legs.

"Why do you assume I did something and not that Loki just decided to do this for no reason?"

"Cause if Loki decided to do something for no reason, Hell would have frozen over."

I laughed as Thor faceplanted into the rug, not able to catch himself as I properly freed him.

"I may have... teased him a bit... about something." Thor groaned, rubbing his face.

"Why would you do that?"

"It was just some brotherly teasing, I assure you. Though perhaps I did go too far." Thor slowly stood, using his hammer to help him up.

"I should have never let you watch him." I rolled my eyes, walking back towards Loki and I's rooms. "Let yourself out, Thor! You know where the elevator is."

When I got to Loki's door, I didn't even bother knocking before walking in, watching as the god's head shot up to look at me.

"It is rude to barge into a Prince's room." He glared at me.

"Yeah, well, it's rude to eavesdrop on a conversation. Especially when I told you to go to your room." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I did no such thing!"

"Loki, I heard you chuckling when Thor fell on his face."

"Alright, so I may have had some extra eyes watching. Though can you truly blame me?"

"Yes."

"Very well." Loki looked away from me, his smile fading.

"So..." I started, closing the door behind me and walking towards the bed. "About the eye situation..."

"Alex,"

"No! You can't avoid this talk." I sat by Loki's feet by the bed.

"Something happened to you. Something, nobody should ever go threw. And I know you don't want to talk about it, but we have to know what happened to you."

"Nothing happened! I am not some victim that is here for you all to pity!" Loki stood, pacing in front of his bed.

"But that's just the thing! If you are a victim, while we won't pity you, we will be here for you! We can help!"

"And how is that? How are you so-called "heroes" going to help me? I doubt any of you could help me if something did happen!" Loki yelled, fury dancing like a flame in his eyes.

Natasha might not have truly been brainwashed, she knows what it's like to be fed lies your whole life. And Tony knows what it's like to find out your whole purpose was to sit back while the people you thought were family did terrible things for the sake of a quick buck. Bruce knows what it's like to always have a voice in your head telling you you're not good enough. Steve and Olivia both know what it's like to lose the people closest to you. Clint, well, he obviously knows what it's like to be mind controlled by that scepter of yours.

"We all have had something in our lives that has made us who we are. That has made us people who help others. And all of us. We want to help you."

"And you? What do you supposably know? What horrors have you endured since our last meeting that make you such an expert on how to help me?" Loki mocked.

"I know what it's like to be tortured, brainwashed, lied to, and manipulated by an evil force. Mine was Hydra." I looked Loki straight in the eye, watching as shock filled his eyes, his face struggling to remain angry.

"So yeah, I think I might know a thing or two of what happened to you. Now, talk to me. What happened to you?"

Loki looked away from me, seeming to have an internal struggle with himself.

"His name is Thanos."

I perked up at Loki's words, preparing myself for whatever it was Loki was about to share.

"When I let go of Thor's hand, I expected my life would have just ended. That's what the plan was, anyway. Instead, I was taken by these horrid creatures."

Loki started pacing as he talked, his right hand moving to pick his left.

"They brought me to some type of dungeon. Whenever they got bored, they came and paid me a visit, taking their anger out on me in any way they pleased. They starved me, beat me, left me alone with my thoughts for what seemed like ages.

"At one point, I thought I was going to die from untreated injuries alone, but something always came over me that made me feel perfectly fine. Like none of the pain was there in the first place. I always thought it was some cruel way of making me feel secure, right before they would come back and make me beg for death.

"In the beginning, I thought maybe Heimdall would find me. That he would use his gift and tell Mother and Thor where I was, and what was happening to me. I would talk to the ceiling of my cell, begging for him to send help.

"He must not have heard me, though, 'cause they never came for me."

Loki's eyes darkened the longer he talked, worrying me as I watched him pace around the room.

"Someone did come, though. It just wasn't anyone I was hoping to ever meet. Thanos. His so-called "children" brought me to him once I had finally broken. He told me all these... wonderful things. That I could be powerful. That I could have a throne of my own. That Odin would finally see me as an equal to Thor. And I believed him. It became easier to manipulate me then."

"Loki," I whispered, slowly standing from the bed and walking over to him. "Thank you, for telling me this. What you went through, is absolutely terrible. No one should have to go through something like that. But some of us here have, and we want to try and help you get threw it. We- I'm, here for you. And I know Thor is too."

"That oaf would only pity me." Loki scoffed.

"I think he would want to know more about what happened to his brother while he was presumed dead." I shot back.

"He is not my brother." Loki weakly growled.

The two of us stood in silence for a minute, neither of us truly certain of where to go from here.

"It's getting late. I'm gonna let you have your space now. If you need me, I'll be in my room." I walked backward as I talked, placing my hand on the door nob and opening the door. "I'll see you in the morning."

I closed Loki's door behind me, walking towards my room. I quickly did my nightly routine, changing into pajama pants and a black long-sleeve t-shirt.

I flopped onto my bed, getting under the covers while I turned on my t.v, not really wanting to be alone with my thoughts tonight.

I really hoped that Loki would talk to Thor tomorrow. It would be a great start to helping him.
