Just like Loki promised, right after we ate breakfast we were on our way to the Bifrost. The two of us went into Odin's office, telling the guard standing outside to not let anyone disturb us. This way, we could teleport down to the Bifrost without having to be disguised as The King and Queen.

"I may not have the answers you are looking for, your highness'." Heimdall instantly said as we teleported into the Bifrost.

"What do you mean?" I immediately asked, walking over to him.

"I can see everyone in the nine realms at any time, but I have always had a problem with seeing you at the time of your capture. I still do not know why. Part of it might be from them relocating you so much."

"Is that why everyone thought I was dead?"

"Yes. Without me able to see where you were, there was little reason to believe you still living."

"I still scoured the realm for you, though," Loki muttered behind me. My eyes stayed on Heimdall, though I did reach my hand behind me to squeeze Loki's hand.

"So does this mean you can't find him?" I asked.

"I did not say that. I just said it would be difficult. I had theorized long ago that your powers had another impact on my ability to find you. Your friend, however, has no such powers."

"So... you can find him?" I hesitantly asked, Loki squeezing my hand for comfort this time.

"I do believe, that with a little time and a bit of help, I can indeed find your friend."

"That's awesome! What can I do to help?" I beamed.

"I am afraid you are not the one I need assistance from, nor from you, my prince," Heimdall told Loki and me.

"Then who do you need help from?" I asked. "Is it Frigga?"

"No. It is from an old friend of mine."

"Do you think it will work? That Heimdalls mysterious friend will be able to find him?" I quietly asked Loki as we walked through the palace halls.

"I have hope that it will. If Heimdall trusts them, I suppose I do too." Loki nodded.

"That's new. I thought you didn't trust anyone you haven't been around at least twenty times." I smirked.

"Well, this is Heimdall's friend. I have never even seen the man talk to someone unprompted, so if he can keep someone as a friend, then they have at least a bit of my trust."

"Well, that's mature of you. What happened to the insensitive, selfish man I knew?" I teased, earning a laugh from Loki.

"I hope he is long gone. I don't need to lose you again just because of me doing something stupid."

"You do realize that you doing something stupid is part of how I fell in love with you in the first place."

"Surely you cannot be serious." He frowned, looking over at me. It was weird being just about the same height as him since Frigga is tall and Odin is short.

"Of course I'm serious!" I laughed. "I always found it funny whenever you would casually ice out some diplomat. Or throw a supper rude comment to some girl that wanted to get in your pants."

"That's what brought you to liking me?"

"You never seemed to care what they thought of you. I loved it. Loved the confidence of it all." I shrugged.

"Hmm. Well then, it's a good thing you can see through my illusions. You get to watch me boss around the whole kingdom."

"Sounds wonderful."
