"You're going to need to find Thor as soon as you can. Hopefully, he's with your good sister, and not yet with the bad one." I told Loki, straightening the horned helmet on his head.
"And what shall you be doing?" He raised a brow.
"I will be staying here helping the people get aboard. I'm hopeful your mother will be quick to join, but if not then I may just go find her."
"My mother is a witch, much like yourself. She can handle whatever stands in her way."
"Still."
I flattened Loki's armored top, with one hand while the other went to my belly, where our daughter was kicking with all her might. Probably from realizing how nervous I was.
"It will all be okay, Love. Thor and I... we'll have each other's backs. Just like old times."
"Yes, but old times all ended with you stabbing him in the back, literally or not."
"Yes, well..." My husband shrugged with a playful smirk on his face, making me hit his chest. "I promise I will not do that this time. I swear it on the Norns themselves."
"You better not. I would like our daughter to meet her uncle. Alive."
"Yes, yes." Loki chuckled, his hands moving to my stomach, his right hand encompassing my left.
"And I would like our daughter to meet her father. Alive." I mumbled, making Loki's hands tense.
"While I can't promise my safe return, I can promise that I will do all in my power to see you again. We will never be separated again, my love. I promise."
"It's you and me. Always and forever." I nodded, my eyes closing as Loki pressed his forehead to my own.
"Always and forever, my Love."
"Hey, Alex, Loki! We're almost there!" Korg, the man of rocks, told us.
"I better go. I was planning on making quite the entrance." Loki moved his head away.
"When do you not?"
I watched as Loki started walking off, though quickly took his arm, pulling him back to me. Before he could ask what I was doing, I brought him into a deep kiss, the two of us quickly melting into it.
I let out a staggered breath as the two of us parted, Loki's hands on the back of my head and my waist while mine harshly clutched his armor.
"Go get 'em, tiger."
"Love, you know I dislike your Midgardian phrases."
"Oh, you love them," I argued, moving to quickly kiss him once more before pushing him away. "Now go be a hero."
"I love you!" Loki shouted as he walked away.
"And I love you!" I shouted back with a smile, though a single tear managed to escape my eye.
I gasped a bit as I felt another hard kick in my stomach, my hand shooting down to rub it.
"Don't worry, love. He'll be back. He promised he would try. And your father is nothing if not honest with me. Which is strange, considering he's the God of Lies."
My head shot up upon feeling a swoop of fresh air hit my face, looking to see Loki standing, arms spread, at the doorway of the ship, smoke surrounding my dramatic husband.
"Your savior is here!" He yelled out, making me roll my eyes.
"Yep, that's your father, all right."
