Trying to explain everything was the hardest thing I ever did. First of all sneaking out of scool was NOT helping things, second of all my friends staring at Silver and me as if we had grown three extra eyes definatly did not improve my nervousness.
"Ok, now explain everything."
I almost cringed under Ryan's glare but being the reputated badgirl and toughie, I ignored it and sighed. I started explaining everything I knew.
"Last night after the video chat, I woke up at around the middle of the night and found Silver here rummaging through my stuff. She says she was looking for a certain map and she spoke bits if Latin.......which I could understand."
"Woah, woah, woah." Charlie put up his hands. "You know Latin?"
I nodded. As did Silver.
"Anyways, she's a creature from the spirit world." Chloe's eyes lit up at this. "I knew it existed." She whispered.
"She says my p....parents sent her." I whispered, barely able to get the words out. "Apparently ten kids are part of some ancient prophecy to stop a great evil rising. I'm one of them, and so are.....so are all of you."
Chloe gawked at me. Ryan stared with his mouth open like a goldfish and Charlie looked like he was having a tiny meltdown. Ladies and gentlemen, my friends.
"Wait, what is this 'great evil'?" Charlie asked.
"And what the heck is this thing about ten chosen kids? How can kids even stop a great evil?" Chloe asked with panic in her voice.
"Most importantly, why should we believe you and even if it is true....." Ryan gave me a glare. " How could our parents hide this from us?"
I took another deep breath. "Guys I really don't know all the details but....." My voice cracked. " You have to believe me. Ever since Silver's visit last night I've been having these visions. Flashbacks of my parents talking about us....talking about some prophecies, an organization and something about Elders and chosen ones." I told them about my recent visions. I had NO IDEA whether they were just hallucinations or stupid dreams but come on - isn't Silver enough proof?
"Maybe that's one of the reasons our parents introduced us to each other all those years ago. Remember?" Chloe looked at me. She had a strange look on her face . Charlie placed a hand on her shoulder and Ryan placed his on the other. I shuffled up to them and held her hands, comfortingly. I stared into her eyes and all of a sudden, another stupid vision hit me. This time, it was even more painful than last visions. I gasped and felt the others wincing in pain as well.
*****
I didn't get time to think about how the others felt the sharp painful moment because I was too busy falling in a whirlpool of memories. I landed right in front of a group small kids. Me and my friends to be exact. We looked like we were going to kindergarten. Then I remembered - this was the time our parents introduced us to each other.
"Whoa." Charlie muttered.
I spun around so fast I almost knocked Chloe over.
"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE!?" I shrieked."Nice to see you too." Grumbled Ryan. "So these are one of the visions you were talking about? This is so weird." Then he saw the toddlers in front of us. "Hey! This is the time we met right?"
"Yup. Huh, looks like if I touch someone while I have a vision they have it too."
"Not that bad. Only the extremely painful invisible brick thrown at your face before a vision is the one problem I hope we don't need to experience ever again." Chloe said.
We just stayed silent after that.
