Noah pov
I was gone too long. I immediately knew it when I saw my friends. Jason and Mark both looked like they were about to collapse, bruised, bleeding and beaten up, barely holding up in the air, and draining more of their energy trying to lift Jake up. Jake seemed as if he was about to pass out, blood gushing from his gut, soaking his shirt in red.
I looked down in horror. Raven....
A stone was peeping out of her stomach, and she was unconscious. No, no, no, no...
The twins, and Indigo were on a heap on the floor, struggling to get up. Elli! Her leg.... She was wheezing, clutching her leg, bent in an impossible angle.
And Ryan... His arm...Tenebris let out a raging roar.
"What is the meaning of this?!" He bellowed. He looked up at me, shaking in rage, his pale face slowly turning red. He flushed an even darker shade when he caught a glimpse of the crown on my head. "How...." he seethed.
"Diana crowned me." I replied coldly. I flicked my wrists, making my blades appear. "You want the Royal Crown so bad? Come and get it."
"GET HER." he hissed. There was a flicker from the corner of my eye. I barely managed to swerve in the air and avoid my mother. She landed on one of the chandeliers of the ceiling, making it swing hard. She leaped and I swerved in the air to avoid her again. Too late, she'd grabbed onto one of my wrists and pulled me to the ground. We crashed to the floor, and the marble cracked as we landed. My mother stood up, panting. Her palm was cut, where she'd grabbed my wrist blade, but she didn't seem to notice.
"A changeling, a Chosen, a Royal blood and now, you're a Queen. What other surprises do you hold for us?" she panted. I stood up shakily.
"You know, I'd feel bad hurting my mother...but this is an exception." I growled. The ground in front of her exploded in a shower of marble, throwing her off. I tackled her before she could get up again and raised my fist, focusing all of my energy on the flames. A large slab of stone rammed into me, throwing me off her.
My mother rasied her arm and marble shards shot from the floor with a crack. "You're not the only one with powers." she hissed.
"You're not the only one who can use a bow." another voice said coldly. My mother barely turned around when a glowing blue arrow shot across her cheek. Indigo drew her bow again, barely standing, but a determined look on her face.
"Get Tenebris and end this!" she screamed. "I'll handle her."
"Not so fast!" another slab of rock threw me off balance, making me land next to Indigo. My mother was furious. Her cheek was bleeding, smoking boils appearing on the sides of her scar.
I stood up and blast flames in her direction. She ducked and shot stone shards at us. Indigo shot more flames while I diverted the direction of the stones. What's Tenebris doing? Where is he? I glanced behind me to see Jason, Mark and Jake attack him from the air and the twins fighting him on the ground. A shard went through my arm, bringing my attention back to my mother. Grunting in pain, I pried the stone shard out of my arm, letting it bleed.
"Give up." snapped my mother.
"Not a chance." snapped Indigo. She shot another blast of firey red flames and my mother ducked. She drew her bow and shot three arrows at us. I made a wall of rock rise up, shielding us and made it explode, sending rocks flying in the direction of my mother. She growled and dodged, letting the marble fly over her head and crash on the wall.
"Why are you still fighting? You have no chance." she ducked another blast of flames and made spikes of earth shoot through the ground. I jumped in the air, but Indigo dived away too late and she was thrown across the room with a scream.
