Respected Sir,
I would like to excuse Charlie and Chloe Mattews from school for this week. Our Electronic company is launching a new product and is organizing a meeting at Tokyo where we plan to launch it. It is important that we attend this meeting and we cannot miss it. We will take the twins with us for this week as we cannot find a suitable guardian for them. Please contact me for anymore information regarding their education and the classes that they will miss this week.
Sincerely,
Susan Mattews.
Satisfied, Charlie moved on to the next letter.
Mr Smith,
I would like to excuse my niece Noami Walkers from class for the rest of this week. My cousin is getting married soon and he has invited us to the wedding. It is absolutely necessary that we attend this event and may also serve as a good distraction for my niece considering the loss of her parents. Keep aside all of the homework and assignments that she will miss for this week and contact us if there is a problem.
Sincerely,
Mona Walkers
"The loss of my parents??" I asked, exasperated. "Seriously Charlie?"
He shrugged. "It's a tiny sentimental lie that will convince the teacher to not ask too many questions. And I already hit send so..." he grinned and continued clicking on his keyboard while I rolled my eyes.
Madam Principal,
I am afraid that I will have to excuse Jason Swan and Indigo Columns from school for the rest of this week. The Police Force are organizing an event for several people to participate in a special training program for the police and sheriffs in Mexico. I'm am participating in the program and unfortunately I cannot miss it. I am going to have to take the two with me for I cannot leave them alone here. I apologize for any problems that this may cause. Please keep aside all the assignments that they will miss this week.
Thanking you,
Sheriff of Coco Village, Denver, Colorado
Finally.
Dear Mr Smith,
We are sorry to say that Ryan will not be attending class for the rest of this week. He has been very sick since Saturday and the doctor recommended that he stay in bed for the rest of this week. We apologize for any problems that this may have caused. We request that you keep aside all the assignments and homework that he will miss this week.
Sincerely,
The Carters
"Why do I have to be the sick one?" Ryan whined.
"Cause you gave me a damn wedgie." Charlie snapped.
"And I'm ready to do it again." Grumbled Ryan.
"Then I can just ask the teacher to give you extra homework." Replied Charlie. Ryan kept grumbling.
Satisfied with his work, Charlie hit send. The computer beeped once and he sighed. "I'm done. Task completed."
I smiled and returned to my work. Mom's shop was a really popular one and dad had millions of martial art schools all over the country so with the money they were making, my bank account had more than enough money to last us a week. I typed a few words on my laptop, typed in my forty-six character password and hit enter. My phone pinged and I grinned.
"Task completed here too. We're gonna need a bit of hard cash though. I don't know if transactions through the phone will work everywhere. Might be old fashioned but I feel like it's best. "
