I took a deep breath as I unlocked the door. Why was I nervous?

As I stepped inside I had the sudden urge to yell, 'Mooom! I'm home!'

Everything was there. Exactly as we left it. The table in the hallway where we dumped our keys, the painting of the Greek gods hanging on the wall, the coat rack with only a single coat on it (dad's) and the umbrella stand nearby. It felt nice. Like everything was normal, like mom and dad weren't missing, like I still lived there.

Silver looked around obviously impressed by the big house.
"Domus tua pulcherrima."

I smiled. "Thank you."

"What did she say?" Chloe asked.

"She said, 'Your house is very beautiful.'

"Wait till she sees my place."
I rolled my eyes. She couldn't even give me ten seconds.

"Let's search mom and dads' room."

"Wait isn't that the first place the police would have looked? What if they took anything that could have been useful?" Ryan inquired.

I grit my teeth at the thought. "Don't worry. I asked Officer Rachel and she said nothing at all was touched. She said they scanned everything but didn't find anything useful yet. The police wouldn't take anything without my permission, if they do..."

I shook my head and climbed up the stairs.

The second I opened the bed room door, the familiar sent of my mother's perfume hit me, making my heart wrench. I breathed in as much as I could and started searching for anything useful.

I opened her drawers, her closet, her jewelry box and found nothing useful. Chloe walked up to her closet. My mother had asked the designers to paint a silvery celestial design on theoirs for some reason, and there was a large cresent over them.

Chloe eyed the closet. "Hmmmm...No offence Noah, but your mom could have at least made an effort to organise her clothes. And don't even get me started on the shoes. Why would she just toss them in there like that?" She started arranging the shoes while we ignored her.

I dug through my father's closet next. It looked the same as mom's only with golden rams and a sun over the doors.

Still nothing. I peered at his clothes. Chloe was right, my parents needed to organise their clothes a little more. Almost all of dad's ties were on the closet floor, his shirts were all over the place, I found lots of sweatshirts at the back where the shoes were carelessly tossed, and a few ponchos too. His suits were the only things hanging on the racks.

I dug through the clothes and shrieked when a pair of pants fell on my head. Ryan, who was searching under the bed, was by my side in seconds.

"What's wrong?"

"No...nothing. Just a pair of pants that fell from.......somewhere."

"Wouldn't be too surprised if we found Narnia in here." Chuckled Ryan.

"Hey maybe we can give hash brownies to Cindy and she can find Narnia for us." I began giggling.

Chloe laughed and Charlie gave a snort. Silver smiled.

"Noémi tell me, where do you think your parents would hide the map of Sapiens?"

I shrugged. "I've never even heard of them talk about a map. I don't know where to start."

All of a sudden my head snapped back and I was sucked into another vision.
