I looked up at the old man's face on the giant screen.

"If you are wondering why the base is deserted, it is because I have made them move to the main headquarters in the spiritus mundi."

"What? Why?" Asked Charlie. We shushed him.

"We have just received word that Tenebris' spirits have been running wild around the two worlds, attacking both humans and spirits. In the last three days we have lost a hundred spirits and even more humans. We have kept it all quiet of course but we do not know how long we can keep it up. Our agents are all trying their best to keep the spirits at bay and we need all hands on deck. Your parents are here at the main base preparing for the upcoming battle and getting everything ready for the ten of you. I need you to gather as many supplies from this base and get to the main base as soon as possible."

"But how is that possible? Why would his spirits attack the o-"

"Use whatever supplies you need at this base and get to headquarters."

It was a recorded message. I couldn't talk to this guy.

The old man's face filled with concern and fear. "This villain is getting stronger and stronger by the minute. The five Elders who created this organization could only do so much to weaken him. You are this world's only hope children."

With those last words the screen went black. I felt my knees shake. Raven paled and closed her eyes shut as if trying to wake up from a bad dream, Chloe was holding on to Charlie with a pale face, Charlie clutching his sister the same way about to faint and Jason was on the floor, head in hands. Jake swore under his breath, Elli and Indigo were leaning against the wall both pale faced and Ryan had tightened his grip on my hand. I didn't even notice. I let out a shaky breath and a single tear escaped. Cursing myself I closed my eyes and tried to think of a way out of this.

All of a sudden my head snapped back as I was sucked into another vision, another body falling in with me.

I was in a dark place. Fire, rock and death surrounded me. I looked around.

"Are we in hell?" Asked Ryan.

"HOW ARE YOU HERE?!"

I looked down at our still entwined hands. "Oh."
He quickly let go and looked at our surroundings. I walked up to a large rock wall.

"There's no way in hell this is hell."

I pointed out through the cracks. He looked out. We were surrounded by mountains and mountains. We were on top of a mountain range. The earth beneath us was caked in redish dirt and mud. Only, this didn't feel like we were on earth anymore.

"Well this isn't the human world. Think this is the spiritus mundi?" asked Ryan.

I nodded. I shivered. I didn't like it here.

"There's something wrong with this place. There's this strange feeling of death on this mountain." I whispered.

"It feels likesome rocky prison." He shuddered.

I looked up at the dark sky. It was a dark purple color, green lights dotting the sky.

"Northern lights." I breathed.

"For a place with a feeling of death, this place sure has a nice view." Muttered Ryan.

Suddenly there was a rumble. The rock wall next to us exploded. I screamed as the mountain shook and dirt flew everywhere. A deep rumble emitted from the next mountain and then a loud roar, like a beast out of its cage. Then, like a volcano spewing lava, the rock cracked open and dark spirits shot out, shrieking and screaming, flying in different directions.
