Hyunjin PoV

A few days have passed and we found an old house in which we made ourselves comfortable. The house didn't have as many rooms as Chan's, but we tried to make ourselves feel at home, even if we had to share some beds. This world seemed more peaceful than the one we came from. We saw more people on the streets and since Chan even found some money in his pocket he was able to go to a supermarket and buy us some food. It seemed as if this world was the same as before what happened to our world. Of course we pondered how to get Jeongin back to us but it was complicated. We had no idea how and I started to think more and more negatively about it.

What if we never see him again?...

I sat on one of the chairs in one of the rooms and tried to read a poetic book that was already in the house. But I just couldn't concentrate. The words in the book were just words printed on pages. It was nothing more. And no matter how many times I would read a word, it would mean no more than that it was a word on a piece of paper. I wanted to concentrate on the words, I wanted to read again like I always did, but Jeongin's face kept apearing in front of my eyes.

I had caught a cold and although I really wanted to help find a way, the others told me to rest and let them try it, but I just couldn't think of anything but Jeongin. I even tried to distract myself by drawing but everything I drew reminded me of Jeongin. In my head is only Jeongin.

A sigh escaped my lips and I threw the book onto the table next to me. I ran my fingers through my hair in desperation. "Fuck," I mumbled under my breath. We would have the life back now that we once had but he wasn't there... We wouldn't be complete without him. We have to get him back.

Necessarily.

I sighed again.

There was a soft knock on the door, but before I could answer, Felix peeped through the crack in the door, holding a bowl of what I assumed was soup. "Do you want to eat? Minho can cook really well. And the soup tastes very good," he said, coming more into the room. He put the bowl down on the table and then smiled briefly. "Please try to eat a little and you should sleep a lot you are sick."

"You sound just like my father," I said curtly and laughed before sitting down to my meal and carefully raising the spoon to my mouth. The soup tasted really good. I slurped on the spoon, letting the warm liquid trickle down my scratchy throat.

Felix looked at the bed on which my drawings lay scattered. He picked one up and looked at it. "Wow, you are absolutely talented," he said. I mumbled a soft 'thank you' as I sipped on my food.

Suddenly we heard voices getting louder and louder. The voices clearly belonged to the others but why did they talk so much and it almost sounded like they were happy? Felix opened the door and then quickly turned around and said, "Hyunjin!" He didn't have to say more that I jumped up and ran to the others.

There he was in our front door and I could hardly believe it. How had he made it here. And how so fast? That was too fast... Far too fast. That must be a dream. A fever dream. I was going to wake up any minute and be upset that he was gone. He looked at me and smiled. And oh, how I loved that smile. It was too good to be real. "Jeongin?" I said and ran towards him. I shoved my arms around him and murmured into his shoulder, "How did you manage to get here and find us?"

He rubbed my back and then said with a little chuckle, "Long story."
