Hyunjin PoV

I sat on the chair next to the sofa and watched every move chan made. He had medical knowledge, so he removed the bullet from Jeongin's shoulder. He cleaned the wound carefully and precisely. "Nothing was hit that could endanger him," said the Australian, while bandaging the wound. He looked at the youngest but then turned his gaze to me and said, "So tell me. What happened?"

A sigh escaped my lips and I tore my hair in stress. I wanted to tell everything but when I thought about it and tried to sort my thoughts I couldn't get it out. That would have sounded completely crazy to chan. The older one looked at me like he was just waiting for me to finally tell. I cleared my throat and was about to start speaking with a clear head when we heard Felix arguing loudly with someone outside.

Oh no. "Changbin..." I whispered to myself but Chan heard it.

Abruptly he got up and headed towards the front door. "Chan!" I yelled but he ignored it and walked out where Felix and Changbin were standing. I followed him as I was still trying to calm Chan down a bit. "I told you never to come near us again! Did you do that to Jeongin?!" The oldest of us was angry. I've never seen him so angry. The addressed seemed confused. I told him I had to talk to the others first. Why was he here?!

Chan walked towards Changbin and came dangerously close to him. Felix stood there with a serious look and watched the two. He must have come from the farmer's or he had just gone for a walk and was on his way back. "I already let you go last time! Because I couldn't bring myself to hurt you. But now I wouldn't hesitate-"

"Chan! Stop! Stop! Listen to me. He wasn't the one who did it!" I cut off Chan before he could continue. He looked over at me. His gaze pierced me and everything behind me. His eyes were so full of anger. It seemed like he only saw Changbin. As if he only wanted to hurt the other. I had to try to explain it all to them.

So I started talking about the whole doppelganger thing. And as expected, I got confused looks from Felix and Chan. "You're trying to tell us that Jeongin and Changbin were their doppelganger all along?" said Felix with furrowed eyebrows.

"Yes. That's exactly what I want to tell you. It's confusing, I know. But the Jeongin who was with us the whole time showed his true self right before he shot Jeongin," I said, serious. "But how do you know which Changbin he is?!" shouted Chan, pointing to the one just mentioned.

"And even if he's not the Changbin that killed Minho, I can't get the image of him stabbing Minho out of my mind when I look at him!" I could see his eyes glaze over. Until this moment he had only ever tried to comfort us and had not paid attention to his own feelings.

Changbin's eyes looked startled. "Killed? Minho was killed?" he said in a trembling voice. "Yes, from a person we thought you were," I replied in a calm voice. I tried to speak calmly so that Chan might calm down a bit as well.

"How long was your doppelganger with us then?" asked Felix and walked a few steps away from the other two.

Changbin hesitated before replying, "I got separated from you guys that night at the campsite."

The younger ran a hand through his hair, stressed. In his eyes I could see that he was just realizing everything. "I..." he didn't continue but ran into the house with his fists clenched.

"Felix!" shouted Changbin and wanted to run after him but he was stopped by Chan. "You can't go in. Not now," he exhaled. "Maybe never," the latter said, and went back into the house as well.

I stood there, faced the shorter one and looked at him with a bad conscience. "I'm sorry Changbin," I said, opening our front door.
