Jeongin PoV

I wiped his blood from my knuckles and pierced wannabe Jeongin with my gaze. I rubbed my knuckles to ease the pain and then clenched my fingers. I just simmered with anger. All I wanted was to smack his face until it was covered in blood. "You lousy bastard," I yelled. "Didn't expect me to find you huh?" I said slightly provocatively. He pissed me off so much. I couldn't even descripe it. Hyunjin was standing next to us saying something but I wasn't listening. The only thing that interested me was him. He got to his feet again and I ran towards him, but this time he punched me first.

I felt blood spurting from my nose but ignored it. We punched each other in the face until he punched me in the stomach and I fell to the ground. I wanted to get up but he kicked my chest. "Shit," I mumbled, catching for air. My heart was pumping, my chest was screaming, and my mind was running.

He leaned down and pulled me towards him by my collar. "You're ruining everything for me," he hissed, looking at me with dead eyes. "I hate you," I managed to choke out before he violently pushed me back to the ground. He reached out with his hand and was about to hit me again when he was interrupted. "What the fuck? What the fuck is going on here?! Why the hell are there two of you?"

"Hyunjin, no matter what he says, don't believe him. He was sent by the government and is trying to get us back to our world," he said and I could see how nervous he was about it. Apparently that didn't go according to his plan. I had to grin a little and then said, "Are you even listening to yourself? You-"

"Shut up! Shut up! Hyunjin listen to me. I know why the government did all this to us. He's just a copy of me who wants information," he yelled at me but when he turned to Hyunjin he spoke calmer again. I stood up and wiped my nosebleed on my sleeve and looked at Hyunjin. He still seemed completely overwhelmed with the whole situation and just looked at my doppelganger.

"Look at me hwang Hyunjin," I said. His eyes wandered to me and looked me up and down. It seemed like he was looking for inequalities between me and my likeness. I exhaled quietly and said, "Didn't you notice how he was acting a little differently than I do? We've known each other since forever, and you must have noticed that he was acting strangely."

Hyunjin just looked at me, it seemed like he was just processing it all. "Ask us something only the real jeongin can know," I said and he seemed to consider. Then he began to speak: "When I was a child, what was it that I was always afraid of?"

"The dark corner of your room," I and the other Jeongin voiced at the same time. "What? How do you know that?!" I said, clicking my tongue. I could see him starting to grin a little. Hyunjin thought again. "I'm not going to continue like this. This is childish can someone please explain what's going on."

"Like I said, he's from the government," said the one next to me and I rolled my eyes. "I don't know who to trust." he pointed to my doppelganger. "You behaved a bit strangely. Minho also noticed something before- well before the incident."

What inident?

Then his gaze turned to me. "And you just showed up. What can I say, I'm overwhelmed."

"I'll tell you what he is now. He's my doppelganger. Apparently we all have one. After I separated up with you guys I was alone and he showed up. He said he would set you up and I would never find you. Remember when we were sleeping at the deserted campsite? Changbin was being knocked out by his doppelganger who had brought us to the door. Hyunjin I don't lie to you. I would never lie to you," I said, looking at him seriously. "I don't know if I can trust you..." he murmured.

Before I could answer that, I saw out of the corner of my eye how the one next to me was holding something in Hyunjin's direction. When I looked closer I could see it was a pistol.

Where did he get that from?!

"I've had enough. You two are getting on my nerves so much. You shouldn't have shown up," he pointed the gun at me briefly but then pointed it back at the oldest. "And you. You shouldn't have noticed that I was acting differently. I have to admit that I felt sorry for you after what Changbin did. I enjoyed pretending to be devastated. You all didn't notice. And I admire my acting skills," he grinned and then laughed.

"Please don't shoot Hyunjin. If so, shoot me," I said in a slightly scared voice. Hyunjin had his hands up and didn't look much more relaxed than I did.

He turned to me and the next thing I heard was a loud shot and a sharp pain spread through my shoulder. "Oops," he said, laughing in amusement.

I held my shoulder and saw blood on my hand. Blood... A little too much blood. I've never had a problem seeing blood. But at that moment I wanted to throw up and couldn't watch it anymore. My vision blurred and the ground suddenly came closer and closer to me. Before everything went black, I could hear Hyunjin shouting my name.
