the show they played last night was incredible. watching the boys get on stage and do something they love, is indescribable.

we hung out at the venue until about 3am, catching up and just having the most fun I've had in a year. these boys truly are special to me. they are in Denver for two days and I invited them to stay with me and my mom, the boys decided against it but Noah was all for it.

today I'm gonna show them around my hometown, showing them all the best places to eat and where all the fun is at. the boys are on their way for breakfast, me and my mom working hard in the kitchen while Noah takes a shower.

"thank you for letting everyone come over for breakfast."

"sweetheart, you don't need to thank me! they are all more than welcome here. plus it gives me more of a reason to cook, now go check on Noah, I'm sure the boys will be here shortly as well and breakfast will be ready in 10."

my mom kisses me on the cheek. I wash my hands from dealing with raw bacon, and walk towards the back of the house where my bathroom and bedroom are.

I knock on the bedroom door and hear a 'come in' before walking in. Noah's putting a shirt on when I walk in, "hey, mom wanted me to tell you breakfast will be ready in 10."

I hug him once his shirts on, smiling down at me, he gives me a quick kiss on the lips.

we stand in each others embrace while I stare out the window at the calm waters of the lake.

"penny for your thoughts?" Noah asks.

I let out a contented sigh, before looking up at Noah with a wide smile.

"I'm just happy you're here. I missed you so much, I almost gave in sooner to go see you, but I knew I had to get better plus you probably would have chewed my ass for not getting better before coming back." I let out a soft laugh, he does the same and nods.

"most likely. I'm glad you're better now and I'm glad you're safe in my arms. I can't describe how much I've missed you but last night made the wait more than worth it." he gives me soft kiss.

"KIDS! THE BOYS ARE HERE!"

"come on, let's go." I take his hand in mine and try to pull him out of the room.

"wait, just one more." he says pulling me back gently and placing another gentle kiss on my lips.

to say my mom loves the boys would be a understatement. she was beyond excited when I asked if it was okay for them to come over and eat. she immediately went to the kitchen and started throwing out ideas for breakfast. I know she's always wanted a house full of kids, it was something she always dreamed of, but the dream was ripped from her.

at the age of 17, she found my father who, at the time was 18. they were so in love from what my mother tells me. they married when she was 20 and 9 months later, she had me.

I was only 2 when my dad passed away in a car accident, leaving both me and my 2 month pregnant mom behind. I often find myself staring at his pictures on the walls wondering what he would be like today.
