I love New York , I was born there so it's in my blood but Im not the same person that I was when I was there . I've lived in ATL for 4 years with my mom and step dad and my younger sister
Moving out of the hood was a real eye opener for me , I realized I was surrounding myself with dangerous people and doing stupid things . When my mom moved us out here in this gated community and moved me into a private school for Rich folks and celebrities kids ,I really wasn't for it but as I grew up I knew she did what was best for me
"Mama you ready to go?" I asked walking into the kitchen
"Yeah get your sister's bag for me and let's go"she replied to me as she walked to the car
We're going to New York for a few weeks to see my grandma, we also decided to go to rolling loud because offset was going to be a guess preformer . We made our way to the private jet and in no time we were at my grandma's house
I was chilling on the couch with my Abuela when there was a knock on the door , I went to open it and squealed and hugged the person
" omgg I'm missed you so much Hennessy" I said to my best friend/ auntie
"Look at you karma you look so grown" she said spinning me while hyping me up .we talked for a little bit before my abuela chimed in
" hey go to the store , I want snacks" she said trying to give me money but I declined it, I got up to put on my shoes and henny decided to come with me
We walked to the corner store and got some snacks ,drinks and I even ordered me a sandwich. I hear the door swing open with some familiar sounding voices
" As I live and breathe" Douglas said as he noticed me and henny
" Douglas , how's things?" He kissed his teeth at me
"Using the gov is crazy , call me Dougie. I'm doing alright what about you " he said dabbing me up before going to get some snacks
"I'm doing better now but I miss it here, so many memories here btw Where's Brandon and Kevin at ?"
" I don't know probably spinning opp block, I'll let them know I saw you tho" he said paying for his food and left
In a short while our food was done so we paid and left back to our house
" what's those lil nigga's obsession with you ?" Henny asked as we got to the building I didn't know what she meant so I asked her
" every time I run into them , they ask about you , especially that lightskin one" She said walking upstairs I looked at her like she was stupid
"Why would Kevin ask about me ? He hates me" I said thinking of our last conversation while walking back inside the house
"Didn't seem that way" henny said walking away
Time skip next day
Today I woke up early because I had to dress kulture and do her hair before doing my own .
