I was not popular, like at all. But I sold drugs so people knew me as the schools plug . I didn't fit in with anyone other than my small group and I'd never hang out in a circle that wasn't mine .
Y/n: hey losers , what's for lunch today?
I asked my friends Jamie and Thomas before sitting down in our usual spots . I didn't understand why my school was so cliquey when I moved here , they'd freak out if one of the band guys went to sit with their athletic friends .
T: I made you some spicy ramen, i know how much you like them .
Y/n: thank you my love , I love having a chef bestie
I said thanking him , he was about to reply when his eyes shifted to something behind me
T: is it me or sissy is staring over here ?
I turn to see she was in fact staring over here and she looked pissed , I look away pretending to not know why this was happening
Sissy was a gorgeous girl , most would say she was the prettiest girl in the school, and she was student body president she had everything, money , Cars and the hottest boyfriend
Y/n: look away , it's probably nothing
I lied hoping she wouldn't come over here and cause trouble for me
J: it's definitely something, maybe it's cause I saw her arguing with sunny this morning
Y/n: did you ? That's interesting
J: yeah she seemed really upset and she even slapped him
I rolled my eyes hearing about her behavior but I can't lie if I was her I'd do way worse
T: there he goes
He said pointing out sunny who had just walked in to the cafeteria, instead of going to his usual seating area where his friends and Sissy were waiting he scanned the room until he spotted our table then he walked towards us
Sunny was THE popular kid , he was an actor so everyone treated him like a celebrity. He had been falling behind in class and I was asked to help him with a few subjects until he was on track , one thing led to another and we had been hooking up for almost a week . But I told him I wouldn't continue it if he stayed in his toxic relationship .
S: Can I talk to you y/n , really quick
He said nervously and I nodded and got up telling my friends I would see them later and walked to the parking lot with him
Y/n: what did you want to talk about?
S: I spoke to sissy like we talked about, I told her about what I did and I broke up with her
Y/n: and ?
S: and I want to hang out later , I saw thinking I could sho-
Y/n: listen sunny , that's great and all but if your asking me on a date the answer is no
S: What? Why, I thought tha-
I know what he thought but he was wrong
Y/n: I can't just be the girl that you go to because things aren't working with sissy
S: it's not like that
Y/n: it is ,you don't actually want to be with me you just don't want to be with her and you think since I'm the complete opposite of her that I'm what you want
S: so what was the point of getting me to break up with her ?
Y/n: that was for you , I suggest that you take some time for yourself , figure out what you need
S: this is bullshit y/n , I know how I feel about you
He said getting closer to me , grabbing my waist and touching my hair . I let him at first but then backed away
Y/n: I want you to know , that I really do like you it's just not the time for us
S: what can I do , to change your mind?
Y/n: Change sunny , that's all
The bell rang and I watched as everyone left the cafeteria, everyone was staring at sunny and I , my friends and sissy included
Y/n: I'm gonna go , see you around
