I woke up early in the morning to try and get ready for work but my boyfriend wasn't tryna let me up
Y/n: jahkai get yo fat ass off of me , I gotta get to the gym
J:bro it's like 2AM , nobody there right now
Y/n: yeah that's cuz I have to let the chefs and staff in
I said shoving him off of me and going to the bathroom. My dad was the manager of the basketball league that jahkai played on , so I helped out around the gym wherever my help is needed that's how I met him . Jahkai was one of the best ball players in my opinion but he had some behavioral issues that were getting in the way of his potential
Y/n: don't forget that practice starts at 6AM , you better not be late or my pops gon get on your ass again
He rolled his eyes and turned away from me
Y/n: alright then , have fun doing drills all day
I said getting in my car and heading to the gym once I got everything set up for the day some of the other guys started coming in for their classes or practice
Y/n: good morning trey , rob
I said to the boys eating breakfast in the cafe , they greeted me and I gave them their schedules and chatted with them for a bit
R: where's your boo , we got a quiz later
Y/n: he should be on his way but you know he never on time
T: he needs to step up his game, he's on the best team in the league and he's struggling to perform
Y/n: he's just frustrated about the twins getting more attention now that they are up for the draft
I explained to them , a few minutes later the twins joined us . Amen and Ausar were by far the most popular players here , the twins were the best players on the best team in the league, their stats were crazy high and they were predicted to be top 10 pick in the upcoming NBA draft
Am: hey pretty girl, you look good today
Amen said giving me a hug after Ausar did and sat next to me . The twins were very friendly to everyone but we spent a lot of time together since they needed the most assistance with their day to day schedules Ausar was the sweetest person you could ever meet and Amen is the funny flirtatious one but he never means harm
Y/n: thanks amen , how y'all doing ?
Aus: good, im excited for the playoffs
Y/n: yess I just hope the team stay the same , your coaches talked bout possible trades right ?
They all nodded and I wish them luck and went on my way back to my office, after a few hours I decided to home to change before the game tonight it was the city reapers Vs the YNG dreamerz so I wore red and gold to represent both teams
Once I got back to the gym I could hear arguing coming from the locker rooms but it halted once I stepped in
Y/n: what's going on ?
J: let's go talk outside ma
Jahkai said gesturing me out quickly following behind
Aus: yeah go with ya mama
I heard Ausar say under his breath as we walked out, jahkai explained to me that he had confronted the twins about their "special treatment" and now the team was going back and forth about the things they got away with
J: it's not fair y/n none of us can compete with them
Y/n: that's because your not supposed to be competing your on the same team as them , and so what if they get special treatment they never asked for that so it shouldn't affect how you treat them
J: but when it affects my games and shit of course I'll be mad
Y/n: them helping each other on the court isn't special treatment ki , they're just used to playing together so it's instinct for them
He huffed in frustration and shook his head and hugged him
Y/n: you should be focusing on how you can improve yourself, you didn't come here to worry about the twins don't let them distract you. Go change so I can help you stretch
J:ok baby, I love you
Y/n: I love you too now go before my dad comes
He laughed as he went back inside and I was glad I was able to calm him down or at least I thought so . The whole games he wasn't playing well and it was obvious he was getting frustrated as the game went on during halftime I tried to ask him what was wrong but he ignored me so I waited for him after the game in my office but Amen was the only one who came
Y/n: oh Amen , congratulations on the win tonight it was a good game
Am: your boy toy thinks otherwise, he stormed outta here after he was arguing with Ausar
Y/n: he left ?
I said checking my phone for any missed calls or messages from jahkai and found nothing
A: You staying late tonight , the team is going to go celebrate with some of the cold hearts boys and I was coming to see if you needed a ride before I head over there
Y/n: um I actually drove here so I'm okay , thank you amen
A:no problem, get your things let me walk you out
I got my things and said bye to the staff before walking with Amen to the parking lot , Ausar was out taking pictures with the lingering fans so he quickly walked me to my car
Y/n:thanks again , you and your brother have a good night
