I was a quiet person, I didn't really like socializing unless i was with Amiri , my brother.
My twin brother was the most popular person at our school making me popular by association which I didn't mind sometimes

He said dapping up the line of people waiting to greet him as we walked through the hallway
People greeted me as well and I replied with a simple smile and a wave

"How you feeling y/n" the only other person I talk to said as he put his arm around me

My brother best friend woo young, he's always been close to me especially more now then ever since we have all the same classes and he always does things like hug me and grab me but I don't mind it

He said heading to the auditorium , he apparently sent a text to the whole school saying he had a announcement to make at the end of the day

A: alright y'all settle down, as y'all know every year I throw the best parties in town but this Sunday is Y/n and I's 18th birthday so it's gonna be the best one yet

He said making everyone cheer and roar in excitement and I visibly cringed in embarrassment

He always makes a big scene out of everything going on in our lives and I don't like when he does

Wy: but your turning 18 ? And u never go

Y/n: I'm not the one they're celebrating

I mumbled walking out of the auditorium to go home , Amiri usually stays after school talking to the people wanting to have a conversation but I don't have time for that

I only nodded in response as removed his arm from my shoulder , I tried to walk off but he grabbed me by the back of my neck and gently led me to his car

Wy: you stop , thinking I'll let you walk by yourself

He said putting my seat belt on, shutting my door and going to the driver seat

He said taking off my air pod and I did what I was told as he drove to my house

Wy: amiri will be on his way soon , can I just chill with you until he comes?

I nod again and he rolls his eyes

Wy: why dont you speak to me ?

I don't answer him but he taps my leg making me look at him

Wy: I see you talk to amiri all the time and I know you don't like speaking to people so I just thought maybe you didn't like me either

Y/n: not true

Wy: then you use all these dumb ass one word responses like your a mute or something , you can speak your mind with me y/n I wanna hear everything you gotta say

Y/n: sorry , i don't mean to

Wy: so it's not me , good to know

He said pulling into my house and I let him in , we walked to my room where I put my stuff down

Y/n: I'm gonna shower
I let him know and pointed to the tv remote so that he can keep himself busy

I thought all about what he had said , I wasn't a mute I just usually didn't have anything to say , I try to keep my thoughts to myself but he said he wanted to hear them and I wonder if I should let him ?
