Yeonjun -busk

I was tired, I was so tired of working so hard and not getting any acknowledgment. I wanted to be an artist , a K-pop artist to be exact but no one ever took me seriously. Not my parents when I started learning Korean in the 4th grade, not when I saved all my money and bought my guitar and not the recruiters I've reached out to either .

When I was old enough, I left my family and ran away to South Korea I decided to try and audition for big Entertainment companies and I got denied so I apply for the small companies and still got denied.

I got a job in a small shop to make money . I didn't have anywhere to live instead of the occasional capsule hotel room . I made up some money by singing, I would sing in front of the companies that rejected me I guess because of my pride . I know I'm a damn good singer and if they can't see past my skin color then I'll make them listen to my voice

Today I was at Bighit , it was busy today so I was feeling good. I brought out my amp and guitar and strum random notes thinking of what songs to sing .I gathered a crowd of people just listening to me play my guitar. I'd ask them if they want to here a song . My favorites are the ones played at the end of dramas , The main stream ones are the peoples usual request .

They picked a song that I actually liked to perform . It was fujii kaze it was a popular song at this time and even though I wasn't fluent in Japanese yet I knew it really well

I started playing the song on my guitar impressing a lot of people, the huge crowd of people watched me play cheered as I started to sing the first part

People recorded as I sang and cheered for me , there were people coming from everywhere I even noticed there were reporters coming from across the street to watch me I didn't know something was going on at Big Hit today but this just gives me a better opportunity to be noticed .

I decided to do a guitar solo to show off my skills

Yeonjun's Pov

I was tired, it was our last hour of practice before leaving for the MAMA awards. We were in the dance studio going over some details when soobin turned the music off .
Kai was near the window, humming a show being played outside.

K: you guys, come take a look at this

He said opening up the window a little bit more so we could hear . I looked out and saw y/n entertaining a small crowd of people . I saw her a couple of times around and I stumbled upon her social media pages here and there . I would say I'm a fan , she's good at what she does so I'm surprised she's still under ground instead of in a company .She's got the talent, plus shes very beautiful and hardworking , I've tried to get myself to talk to her but I always punk out at the last moment .

T: she's so good

K: I want to hear up close, we should go down there

S: we should start getting ready to leave, first there's already cameras out there and our car will be here soon

Soobin instructed us , leaving us to get ready. Once I was done I met my members in the lobby, I could see a lot of people outside but none infront of the building, they all watched y/n perform .our manager was complaining about the noise her guitar made

M: I should get security to get her off the street, that nobody thinks she can cause a ruckus

Y: She is not causing a ruckus, you gotta be loud to be heard.

I get why she comes here , she wants an opportunity and no one is willing to give her one despite her being more talented then a lot of people here

M: some people just need to learn how to take rejection, we don't hire people like her
We don't like to deal with foreigners

K: im foreign so that's a lie

Kai said walking outside Beomgyu, Taehyun and I following him out. No one outside noticed us as she played her guitar solo I stared at her in awe

Y: She's a star

M: is she ? Stars don't work for 15 minutes of fame and a couple of dollars in a hat , They will all forget her once they turn the corner

My manager said coming out to get the cameras on us , I rolled my eyes at him and walked over to y/n's mic stand
If he thinks no one will remember this then he's stupid. I start to sing the second verse of the song hitting the note's flawlessly . Every one was going crazy y/n was shocked but she kept going coming closer to me giving me a smile .

We sang the rest of the song together in perfect harmony until the end . She clapped along with the crowd at my performance but I applauded her , she was perfect and she was so close to me

Y/n: you sound good , your names yeonjun right ?

She said in her attractive Caribbean accent , I nodded at her and smiled .I had to go because the crowd was going crazy and there was no security out here

Y: yes , it's nice to meet you but I have to go , meet me here tonight ?

Y/n: it was nice meeting you too , catch you later then

She said nonchalantly in a cute way , I ran back and got in the car to go to the MAMAS , I can't stop thinking about her and I know everyone will be talking about her soon . She deserves it , she deserves everything and I want to help her .
